Cars

Hello everyone!
Do you remind our current challenge at the Dream Factory?

CARS
🚗 🚙 🚚 🚕 🚓 🚒 🚌

Originally it is an art deco poster that I found on the net. I loved the vibrant colors of this drawing so much that I could not resist taking it! ... very simple lines and therefore quite easy to reproduce them by hand. - I colored with felt-tip pens.
The word HAPPY are die cut letters and the birthday sentiment is my computer's work. ... From time to time we must know how to delegate, right?
I glued all on black cardstock and then to the white base card. .... I used a piece of linen fabric to embosse the base card.

I also did an ATC - not often that I do it but it happens.
And that too is inspired by an art deco poster! The cars, stars and writing at the top are stamps, everything else is drawn by hand on yellow cardstock and colored with gray and brown markers.

Inspired?? - you still have two weeks to join us!! It would be great to see your creations!

See you soon 😉

Addition!!
Sorry, I completely forgot to tell you that it is our 50th challenge as well as the blog birthday.
One lucky winner will be picked and get a Christmas surprise!

Happy crafting and good luck!

Trees .....Christmas Trees

Hello everyone.

Today, I show you two cards that are very special for me! ......Why this?
I won at Challenge Up Your Life (with this card) and I have the honor to support the CUYL team this and next week
....how lucky I am!!

Trees
are the challenge for this week!

My stock of Christmas cards is far from being at the top level, so I chose fir trees! Sometimes covered with snow, as on this card, and sometimes not .... but always in Christmas mood.
To make these trees, I simply used white and green triangles of different sizes.
I added some shine on the white parts with Wink of Stella glitter pen and scraped the green parts with a cutter to give texture. I glued the different triangles together to form the trees.
I sponged a white piece of paper with Tempting Turquoise (Stampin'Up), spritzed some water and let it dry.
Before glueing the trees I also added ultra-fine sheer shimmery spray (Tzukineko).
Finally, I stuck the finished panel on a white base card.

A little better view from the shimmer - it's so hard to photograph!

For this card I used several stamps (Stampin'Up, Kesi'Art, Docrafts)  to create a kind of collage.
The left border is stamped with stars.
I added two punched borders (Stampin'Up), a beige and a golden and wrapped arround with a linen string, to which I added two tiny tags. I sponged the edges with Toffee (Versafine) and glued the layer to the white base card. That's it!

Thanks for your visit and happy crafting!

Stamps: Firs, Stars, Splashes, Tiny fir, Sentiments, (Stampin'Up); Hiver (Kesi'Arts); Postcard stamp (Docrafts)
Inks: Tempting Turquoise, (Stampin'Up); Smokey Gray and Toffee (Versafine)
Punches: Stampin'Up

Go on holiday!

Hello everyone!
We have a new challenge at the Dream Factory! - This month's movie is

CARS
..... you guessed, it's about cars!  😉

Ah, this time I made it very simple! I stamped the images (all from Scrap Plaisir) and watercolored them using felt-tip pens.
To do this, I scribble with felt-tip pens on an old CD and then I use it like watercolor.
I stamped the two road signs and stuck them on a thin strip of gray paper.

And voilà a very old car - be it the model of the car or the card making! LOL
Truly, I made this card in 2014 and I never showed it - it was time, right!!!

You have plenty of cars among your stamps or coloring pages and you want to play with us? - We can not wait to see your works!

See you soon 😉

Stamps: First card (Scrap Plaisir), second card (Tim Holtz)
Inks: Fist card: Onyx Black (Versafine), felt-tip pens, Second card: Spiced Marmalade and Tumbled Glass (Distress), Onyx Black (Versafine)

Ho Ho Ho

Hello everyone!

I was so excited about Cornelia's card that I could not resist making one too!
and ......we never have enough Christmas cards - right!?

You can see that I was very strongly inspired by Cornelia's card, except that I added trees in the background and snow on the ground. That is all.
To hide Santa behind the tree, I cut at both sides of the trunk and stuck the guy in it. I did the same for the owl! The firs are stuck behind the snow hill. I colored with felt-tip pens.

Oh yes, I almost forgot to tell you that it's happening at Muse Christmas Visions 😉

See you soon!

Stamps: Santa (Artemio); Firs and sentiment (Scrap Plaisir); Owl (was a gift in a craft magazine)
Inks: Onyx Black (Versafine); Soft Sky (Stampin'Up;
Embossing: Woodland (Stampin'Up)

Fa la la la la

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at House of Cards!
This month we want to see Holiday and/or Colors. (see the inspiration photo below)

This time I choose Stampin'Up's "Merry Mice".
To do the background, I used my new embossing folder (inked with "Saharah Sand" (Stampin'Up). -  just Love it!! 😍😍
I also added a few glittery snow hills to make a pretty wintry scene!
As usual I took felt-tip pens to color my images in watercolor technique.
Once colored, I fussy cut the mice and pushed them into the snow hills. 😊
It just remained to stamp the sentiment and that was it!
