Don't be afraid...

Hello everyone!
I would like to remind you of our current challenge at the Dream Factory!
Our movie theme this month is:

The Little Witch
Witches, ravens, sorcery.... you know, it's Halloween!

I die-cut a circle and used it as a mask on my panel. I sponged the whole area with Fresh Fig and Pumkin Pie (Stampin'Up). I removed the masking and made some fog with the edge of an old credit card, a bit Fresh Fig and black ink. I stamped the branch, the owl, the tree, the leaves, the grave, the stone wall and the sentiment. Then it was the bird's (Katzelkraft) turn. To make it look like a raven, I colored it with black, gray and violet felt-tip pens and then fussy-cut it. I stuck it to the panel and put a spider in his beak. The owl is also colored with felt-tip pens. Finally I masked the moon again, splattered white ink on the panel and glued it on the base card.

Hope you like it!

Be Brave!

Hello everyone!
Today I created just for myself, not for one of the challenges where I am a member of the design team. Look what has come out!

Well, do you like my pink Halloween card?

I did the background with Distress oxide Picked Raspberry and sponged the edges with Berry Burst and Fresh Fig (Stampin'Up). The two trees and the stone wall below are Katzelkraft stamps.  The stonewall is colored with Smokey Slate and Tranquil Tide (Stampin'Up). The cobweb, the cemetery, the falling leaves and the bat are from Scrap Plaisir. The two flying bats are made with a stencil I made myself. Before I stuck the label  with the sentiment on, I added a few black and white splashes.
I like it ....and you?

It's a wonderful time

Hello everyone!
Oh my god, how time runs fast!!! We already have a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week it's about Smooshing and we want to see that fun technique on your Christmas cards.

If you don't know this technique, you can watch these videos to learn it, it's really super easy!
Ink Smooshing Technique using Distress Inks
Smooshing with Inka Gold

The panel for the small background had been on my table for some time. It was made with Distress Oxide inks and a stencil from Craft Sensations - I thought it would fit well here!
I cut it to size, backed it with black paper and stamped a sentiment from Craft Sensations.
I dit my smooshing with Tranquil Tide (Stampin'Up) and some gold pigments. After drying, I diecut the two firs and stuck them to the small panel. I added an embossed sheet between the small panel and the base card.

Happy smooshing!!!

A Special Day...

Hello everyone!
Today I have a little birthday card that has been waiting for so long to be shown!

The flower is punched from a piece of paper colored with Brushos. I inserted the cut pieces so that the flower doesn't look too empty. I glued it onto a piece of torn paper and stamped the sentiment. I stuck this on a panel embossed to a third and glued this to the base card.

The card was accompanied by a few small surprise packs, full of useful things for our favourite hobby and to relax! ....and my lavender was still beautiful enough to make and add a few lavender spindles...

Snowmen's Christmas Wishes

Hello everyone!
We have a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week it is all about Snowmen.

On my card there are snowmen from Hein Design, Penny Black, Scrap Plaisir and Craft Sensations - in short, I dug up my whole snowman collection! Ha ha ha 😂 🤣
I stamped a sentiment from The Stamps of Life and put some small pearl-pen dots in the "free" areas. I colored with felt-tip pens, and Volià, I like it!

Twofer Sweets

Hello everyone!
Not always easy to have an idea for two different cards with the same stamp, but when I saw Twofer's new challenge it was obvious and I didn't want to miss it under any circumstances!

I chose little cupcakes from Stampin'Up for my cards.

My first card is for Halloween. I used the little cupcakes to make flowers. I stamped an orange circle, stamped then the cupcakes around, colored them with felt-tip pens and fussy cut the flower. To make it look a bit scarier, I glued a black grid on the orange circle and gave everyone a googly eye. I put them in a bottle and stamped a spider to one of the flowers. The first word of the sentiment reminded me of a pumpkin and the second word of its stem. I arranged it so that the two words builded a pumpkin and its stem. I like it, hope you like it too!

The second card is a birthday card for which I was strongly inspired by one of my earlier cards and even though it looks almost the same, it is still different!
It's not very often that I use washi tape, but here I've gone to great lengths! Ha ha ha
I tore and glued the washi strips as it came to mind and for the rest I also took up the basic idea of my card. I hope you also like this very similar version...

DotMCC - Challenge #8 - Reminder

Hello everyone!
Just a little reminder on our current World Card Making challenge at Day of the Month Card Club!
This time only cards are allowed!

I made a card for a football fan.
The football is a punched and embossed disc, colored with black felt-tip pen. The sneakers are from Stampin' Up, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut with scissors. In the background there is a grid which indicates the goal net. The lawn is made with distress ink. To do that, I pressed the stamp pad several times on a piece of acetate and then transfered it onto the panel. I sprayed water on the remaining color and pressed it once more onto the panel - Love how it turned out!
The saying is handwritten and enriched with three stamped labels. It says: Goals are not attained by strength but by perseverance

...last weekend we did a card swap on the theme of sport in our girls' workshop - so I made seven more cards!

....hope you have some time to play with us 😉

There is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate!
