I'm back with new polaroids for the POLAROID POPS CHALLENGE

No. 7 - How does your garden grow

I combined with stamps from #477 (cat), #607 (fox and wagon) and #479 (flower) as well as a leftover bird that I had hand-drawn for a previous polaroid. 

The vegetables from set #448 were too big, so I stamped them on shrink plastic, colored them with crayons, cut them out and shrinked them with the heat gun. I pasted all of this onto a background that I made with the gel press.

No. 8 - Monochrome 

For this I used the set #580

The background I sponged with Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I sprinkled it with water, but that wasn't very effective. So I used white acrylic paint, which looked much better! I stamped the circles and then really liked the background. I colored the snowman and the dog with Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire, which I used like watercolor. I liked the sentiment better cut into pieces!

...and now for Charlie - No. 9 - Famous face

For this I used set #428 (Charlie, tickets, sentiment, clapperboard) and #516 (kid)

I stamped the images on Bristol paper, colored them with watercolors, cut them out and pasted them on a background made with the gel press. I left the tickets and the sentiment slightly sticking out at the edges to give the image more dynamism.

Katzelkraft - The more friends we have...

Tuesday is my Katzelkraft day. I made the card for this week using three different Katzelkraft stamp sets.

Today also starts the new challenge on the Dream Factory so I combined both in one post!

For this month we have a fun French movie as challenge theme:

The Big, Bad Fox and Other Tales...

Whoever thinks that the countryside is calm and peaceful is mistaken. In it we find especially agitated animals, a Fox that thinks it's a chicken, a Rabbit that acts like a stork, and a Duck who wants to replace Father Christmas. - If you want to go on vacation, you better drive past this place.... 😂😂

I chose the fox who thinks he is a chicken and who naturally wants to play with them.

I stamped a few trees and pasted scraps onto a background I made with the gel press. Stamped the little fox and wagon (AALL&Create). I colored them with alcohol markers and cut them out, as well as the leftover chickens I had recently made for another card. Pasted the pieces onto the card and stamped the sentiment. 

I think this card can also be used as an Easter card, what do you think?

Just hanging out with friends, enjoying nice things and forgetting about time, 

that seems to be the favorite pastime of this adorable flock of chickens!

The theme of this month also goes perfectly with Easter. 

This is a good match, because I really need to make some Easter cards too!

I sponged the background with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean. Stamped a few grass tufts and added a strip of washi tape at the bottom. Stamped the chickens, colored them with alcohol markers, fussy cut them and pasted them onto the card. The sentiment I cut out of a tea bag. Hope you like it.

New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

This week we would like to see the following colors on your cards

Teal - Purple - Lime

Somewhat unusual colors for Christmas, but in the end I quite like the result.

I splattered Distress Oxide over the sheet and adhered a small strip of patternd paper.

The little monkey hiding behind the Christmas tree is from Craft Emotions. It is colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut and adhered with foam pads. The baubles got purple glitter gel pen hightlights, which unfortunately doesn't show up in the photo. I added some presents (two of them are stickers) and stamped the sentiment.

Poultry is the generic term for all species of birds bred as livestock and suitable for human consumption. It also includes wild birds that are hunted for food.

This means that not only chickens, geese, ducks, chicks can be seen on your projects, 

but pigeons, pheasants, partridges... too.

One of our generous sponsors is Katzelkraft. I'm a big fan of their stamps and it's always a huge pleasure for me to use them for my creations - so today was no exception! ...and on top of that, today is my Katzelkraft day!

For this card I was inspired by an image found on Pinterest. 

I stamped two chickens, the goose and the house. Colored the fowl with alcohol markers and the house with watercolors. The colorful chicken is from Stampin'Up. The sentiment is stamped with single letters and cut into labels. The background is sponged with Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn and Wild Honey (Distress Oxide). I added a die cut fence and grass next to the house before adhering the images.

Ready for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown? 

This week we have a sketch challenge for you (see below)

I just used some background scraps I had made with acrylic paints and stencils. I cut them into triangles and backed them with bristol paper, whose edges I had previously colored with a gold marker. Added a black stripe with a gold embossed sentiment and a few sequins to the card. Hope you like it.

Hello everyone!

For days my thoughts have been wandering east - to Ukraine. I have many Ukrainian friends and my heart is so sad and heavy. I hope that this nightmare will end as soon as possible, so that no more people lose their lives because of the unimaginable and senseless war of a madman!!!!

Today's Polaroid (#6 Friendship) is in the colors of Ukraine.

My heart is going out to all the brave people who are defending their country and their freedom.

Stay safe, stay strong - peace will come for Ukraine! 💙💛

I cannot and will not believe in anything else!!!
