Katzelkraft - Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, 

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project.

A few strips of washi tape, a die cut speech bubble for the sentiment and one of Katzelkraft's Piaf's. That's all for this super quick CAS card. The bird I stamped on paper sponged with Distress Oxide and cut it out. To emphasize its eyes, I applied transparent gloss. The background is made of washi tape strips.

Relaxing Day

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club. 

This month we're celebrating

Happy Birthday for You Day

I started by stamping the lazy critter. Masked it and then sponged the lower part with Peacock Feathers (Distress Oxide). Masked the horizon without removing the little guy. 

Now my homemade stencil came into play. I used it to make the sun (Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide)) - like on this card.

To color the sky I used the cutout of my stencil as a mask and Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide). 

I took off the mask and colored the relaxing guy with alcohol ink markers. Added some white gel pen strokes and blue fish to the water. Taped two strips of washi tape to the bottom edge. Stamped the sentiment.

Katzelkraft - To the moon and back

Hi everyone, 

It's Katzelkraft day! :)) Mini Moo card #4

This time I made a trip to the moon with the "To the moon and back" set 

- and with that another snip away!

I stamped the larger circle, the dots and part of the large stain you can see at the bottom of the set (see below) on a gel print scrap. Next, I stamped the moon on Bristol paper, colored it with watercolors, and cut it out. Added it to the mini moo and stamped the circle again with orange ink. Looks great! Doesn't it?

I also drew some fir trees with a black marker. Stamped three stars and a small plant with white ink. 

Added a few strokes of Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon with the ink pad to suggest land and sea. The sentiment consists of a stamped label and two labels with words that I cut out of washi tape.

Katzelkraft - Butterflies

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day and I'm back with a new project. This time with a double ATC.

I had the gel print for the background in my stash for a long time, but didn't quite know how to use the large letter pattern. But today I had an idea that I honestly really like!

I simply stamped different images onto the gel print using three Katzelkraft stamp sets:

Metamorphosis, Nature and Flowers (French version) and Flowers & Nature (English version).

 Jazzed up a few spots with white gel pel. 

Cut it in half and sponged the edges with Black Soot (Distress Oxide).

Hi everyone!

Time for a little reminder about the current Dream Factory challenge.

Our movie for this month is

Minions or Yellow

What a cute little cheeky! 

I like Minions, even if they are sometimes a bit over the top. 

This card was quickly done. I stenciled a zig-zag pattern on cardstock, tore off a piece and used it as a background. Sponged the bottom with Black Soot (Distress Oxide) to make the ground.

The Minion I colored with alcohol ink markers, cut it out and adhered it to the card. I heat embossed the sentiment (Katzelkraft) and added it to the card as well.

Katzelkraft - I love cats and books

Hi everyone, 

It's Katzelkraft day! - Here's Mini Moo card #3 :))

This is the third Mini Moo card in the "Cats On Books" series. 

The other two can be found here and here.

I stamped two background designs on the gel print and sponged the edges with Distress Oxide. Added washi tape to the lower right corner. Stamped the cat on books on bristol paper. Colored it with alcohol ink markers, cut it out and added it to the Mini Moo. - This time I added handwritten titles to the book spines.

The labels for the sentiment are a combination of handwritten words and words cut out of washi tape.

Next time there will be a new theme ;)

Katzelktaft - Nooope

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day and I'm back with a new project.

Any idea why he's in such a hurry....?

First, I stamped the trees on a Distress Oxide gel print.

Since the print was round shaped, I sponged the top corners with Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide) - which suggests a bit of sky. Once that was done, I stamped the dog - once on the card and a second time on Bristol paper. Colored it, cut it out and added it to the card. Same way for the sheep, but this time I stamped on a scrap of acrylic gel print. 

I then added a strip of die cut grass to make ground and stamped a few tufts of grass on top. 

The last element was the speech bubble (die cut) that I created with die cut letters and stamped letters.

The cloud and lightning I cut out of washi tape.
