What else?

Hello everyone!
Today I don't post as DT - today is just a "for-me-day"!
As I said the other day, I made some Easter cards. Here's another one of them!

So easy to do!
Just some washi tape for the ground, a die cut and a sentiment, that was it! - Hope you like it!

Stay healthy!!! đŸ˜˜

So Happy...

Hello everyone!
A quick reminder and a little inspiration for our current challenge at the Dream Factory. This month's movie is

Lassie
It's all about Dogs, Friendship, Farm life...

I combined a Katzelkraft dog with the cute "Spot the dog", which I got from Vicky from Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps for "the blog birthday at DotMCC".

First I sponged the background with Pumkin Pie, Daffodil Delight (both SU) and Wild Honey (Distress Oxide)
Afterwards I applied some rhombs using a stencil and Cracked Pistachio (Distress Oxide)
I stamped raindrops (Katzelkraft) and a grid (Bo Bunny) with the same ink. The dots (Bo Bunny) are stamped with Fired Brick (Distress Oxide), and the ripped cardboard with Cloud White (Scrap Plaisir)
The faux stitches are from Marianne Design and the sentiment is from SU
I colored the dogs with alcohol markers, cut them fussy and glued them on the card. VoilĂ !

Have Fun!!

Gather Together

Hello everyone!
As you know, Saturday is 52CCT day on my blog. This week we have a technique challenge - we are looking for.....

Windows

I started to stamp what was visible through the window onto a card base. I masked the image and sponged the background with Deep Lagoon (Versafine). Everything else is colored with colored pencils after removing the mask. The bear, the deer, the snowman and the lantern are also colored with colored pencils - fussy cut and glued on. - The little animals are really tiny and it was a very fussy job!
I added very fine white splashes and set it aside.
I cut off the two long sides of a big, punched label and so I got the windowsill and the upper frieze for the window. I glued a small strip of paper left and right and the window frame was perfect. The panes were cut using a small square die.
I then applied the bricks with a stencil - it would have been easier if I had done it before!
I stamped and colored the Christmas lights before I added the dog and the sentiment. As a final touch I added a very tiny strip of washi tape at the bottom and glued the panel on the card base. Et voilĂ !

It was a little long, but hey!
Have FUN!!

Green - Color of Hope...

Hello everyone!
Considering what's going on, I hope you all are well!!
At the moment we have a lot of time available, I used it to make some Easter cards.
Whether I can bring them to the post office is questionable! - Because of the virus, we are literally locked up and are only allowed to leave the house with a dated certificate + time specification for one hour per day and only within a radius of 1 km!!!
Now we can only hope that the virus spreads more slowly and, above all --- that it dies!!

Green is the colour of hope!

I'm not a big fan of this color but for this card it came to my mind spontaneously!

I applied Versamark to a Heidi Swapp stencil, then I pressed it onto the back of this beautiful green ballot which I received in the last municipal election and I heat embossed it. I sponged a little yellow and pistachio green here and there. I stamped the letters of the word "Easter" and cut them into small labels. I die-cut the word "Happy" from black cardstock and two Easter eggs from a leftover, made with Distress Oxide inks. Stamped bunny ears and fussy cut them.
I splashed black and white ink on the geen panel and then glued all the cut-outs on it.

Take good care of yourself and stay well!!

Christmas Lights

Hello everyone!
As you know, Saturday is 52CCT day on my blog - I am here today with our new challenge.
The topic of this week is:

Christmas Lights

My card is decorated with two large, electric Christmas candles and a somewhat mischievous sentiment.
Not a single stamp on this card, all written by hand and made from leftovers! - The only new thing is the embossed background.
I used a piece of paper on which I tested the foil technique a few weeks ago. The attempt failed completely, but I didn't throw the paper away and today it became candles!! I cut them out with scissors and embossed them so they don't look so flat! And to make them look quite funny, I gave them eyes and mouth ...and little rays of light!
The cable that connects the candles is made of twisted paper.
I put "Wink of Stella" on the candles, but unfortunately you can't see that.

Have fun !!

News from the virus

Hello everyone!
There's a virus in the air, but what am I saying? The whole world already knows!
But what not everybody knows yet is that Gundi from Papierelle has created a new one - the card virus!
It is 100% harmless and should be spread as fast as possible!

...I've already got it! ✌️

Spring is coming, and so many flowers are already blooming everywhere! - Inspiration wasn't far off!
Some watercolor smooshing for the background and very simple flowers, buzzing bees and some doodling - can you already smell the scent of spring?

Get your happy on

Hello everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory!
This month we have selected a film that I am sure everyone of you knows!!!

Lassie
It's all about Dogs, Friendship, Farm life...

...and once again one of my Katzelkraft stamps slipped on the card - I just can't do without it at the moment! Ha ha
I colored the girl and the dog with alcohol markers. Ground and sky are watercolored. The sentiment is from Katzelkraft.

Hope you'll have a lot of fun with this topic!!

Keep Calm....

Hello everyone!
Saturday is 52CCT day - I'm here with our new challenge.
This week we have a color palette:

GREEN - KRAFT - WHITE

I am currently surfing on a Katzelkraft wave and it's so much fun to play with these critters!
It took a bit of time to finish my card - the sheep had some trouble knitting - so I had to do the work. Hahaha

Otherwise the card was very easy to make. The two panels are dry embossed - I stamped the sentiment on the upper part before embossing. The sheep is partly watercolored and partly with alcohol markers - the wool comes directly from its coat. ;)
As there is no red in the color palette, I also colored Santa's hat green. The knitting needles are shortened toothpicks - I knitted with real needles and then transferred the scarf to the toothpicks!
I heat embossed  "Warm Winter Wishes" on a black stripe and added it to the card.

I wish you a lot of fun!

DotMCC - Challenge #13 - Reminder

Hello everyone!
I want to remind you of our current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club.

our theme is:

National Puppy Day
We are looking for dogs of any kind on your card - small or big, old or young!

We are also celebrating our 1. Blog Birthday and we are delighted to celebrate it with you!
We have found 3 generous sponsors, who provided us with gift certificates,
which will be randomly picked at the end of the challenge among all participants!

I used sponsor images Pugs and Hugs and Schneemannquartett.
I really wanted to include the snowmen into this scene
.....so, I created a winter card!

I stamped the snowmen and the pug, masked them and then stamped the fir trees and the log cabin.
While the images were still masked, I smeared some Distress Oxide ink on an acrylic block, spritzed a bit of water on it and put it on the card to create the background.
The snow is watercoloured, everything else is coloured with alcohol markers.
The three snowballs in front of the pug are made from paper, glue and ultra fine glitter.
A speech bubble seemed best suited for the little scene. As a final touch I added washi tape at the bottom.

Look at this!!! I also have a little present for you!!!

This set will be randomly picked from all those who comment on
this post and the main post until March 31, 2020, 24:00 CET.

... those who comment on both posts have of course two chances to win!
....and those who are or will become followers of my blog get an additional chance to win!

...hop over to the blogs of my teamies!!! - you will be surprised!! 😉

I wish you good luck! ☘️☘️
...and a lot of fun!

There is ALWAYS DEFINITIVELY a reason to celebrate!
