Gosh, how fast time flies!!! 

It's time again for a quick reminder on our current Dream Factory Challenge.

Inside Out

The movie Inside Out has the German title “Alles steht Kopf”, which means upside down. 

So we want to see something that is upside down for this challenge.

I was inspired by the movie poster and used both the colors and the layout for my card. 

I stamped the birds and pennants on Bristol paper, colored them with alcohol markers and then cut them out. 

For the background, I punched out circles and used them as stencils. 

I colored the circles with Distress Oxides, cut them out and glued them, as well as the birds and pennants, onto a dark blue card. The sentiment is part of the bird stamp set (Craft Emotions). 

It something like: Friends who have bats in the belfry are happy when they are together. :D

Katzelkraft - Fun Day

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :))  Today I was in mood for an ATC...

I chose the little cat peeking out from behind the vase. It's one of the new Katzelkraft mini stamps from the Maryse Carrier collection. This little stamp is really cute and is the size of an ATC as you can see. So not so mini after all! :))

I stamped the image on Bristol paper and colored it first with watercolor. Then I highlighted a few spots with alcohol markers. I cut out the image and pasted it onto a leftover background, which I had made with a letter stencil (AALL&Create). The text behind the vase is also by AALL&Create.

I noticed that three of the letters formed the word Fun. So I highlighted them with a dark alcohol marker and stuck the word Day (heat embossed) underneath.

Beach, Sea, Sand...

Hi everyone!

I'm back to remind  you about the current challenge at  Day of the Month Card Club! 

This month we are celebrating 

 National Seashell Day

Today I made an ATC. I stamped the images on leftover gel prints and cut them out. Highlighted some spots with alcohol ink markers and a white gel pen. Sand and sea in the background are also gel print remnants. 

I stamped numbers on the left and a text on the right and then glued the cut out parts onto the ATC. At the bottom left, I stamped some grasses. I heat embossed the three labels beach, sea, sand and glued them on as well. Added googly eyes to the sea snail, mussel and starfish to make them look funnier. Hope you like it.

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))

My card today shows another vehicle from the recent Katzelkraft stamp release, combined with the slightly older, super fun cow selfie. The idea for this combination is based on the quote I found on Pinterest.

I stamped the cow and masked it. Stamped the tractor and masked it as well. I then brushed the background and added water splatters to the blue area. Stenciled the bottom part with a darker green.

I removed the masks, colored the cow and tractor first with watercolors and then added a darker red to the tractor with alcohol ink markers.

To finish my card, I stamped a few numbers in the left corners and added a torn strip of washi tape to the bottom edge.

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

The movie for this month is...

Inside Out

Alles steht Kopf

The movie Inside Out has the German title “Alles steht Kopf”, which means upside down. 

So we want to see something that is upside down for this challenge.

Didn't have much time to design my card, so I had to be quick! 

I chose two completely different styles of designer paper, which fortunately work well together.

I cut out the dove with two hexagonal dies. I glued the narrow part directly to the background and used foam pads to lift the hexagon with the dove. 

I stamped the quote I found on Pinterest with an alphabet rotary stamp, cut it into labels and then stuck them on. 

I hope to have more time for my next project.

Katzelkraft - Comme un air de vacances...

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))

Today's creation shows the Tuktuk, one of the many stamps recently released by Katzelkraft. - You've probably already seen them on their webside and on social media.

And the best thing is!!!

And here's how I made my card.

For the background, I used a print that my printer messed up. 

Instead of printing multiple colors, it printed everything in green and gray - that's its new way of printing! Lol

As I don't like to throw anything away, I jazzed up this print with yellow, orange, dark blue and a little black. I simply applied the colors with the edges of the ink pad.

You can still see the green through here and there, but I didn't want to cover everything anyway. 

On the lower part, I stuck washi tape to create a kind of road.

I then stamped, colored and cut out the tuktuk and glued it to the background. - Used Aqua-Markers for the coloring.

To finish my card, I stamped the numbers and the sentiment. (Like a little vacation...)
