Katzelkraft - Fabulous Shoes

Hi everyone!
Katzelkraft has released new stamps
This cool giraffe is one of the fun animals you'll find in the new collection :))

Isn't she pretty in her fancy shoes?

I colored and cut out the giraffe. Stamped the sneaker part a second time with pink ink and then traced the edges and laces with black fine liner. Added darker pink shadows and white dots + a little green and Wink of Stella to make them glitzy. Cut them out and glued them on.
The quote I found on Pinterest. I stamped lots of single letters, cut them into labels and put them together to form the words. I glued everything onto a background that I had previously sponged with blue and gray Distress Oxide ink and stamped with a crackle pattern. - I also added some black splatters.
As a finishing touch, I outlined the words of the quote with black fineliner.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

HELLO

Hi everyone!
We are entering the second half of our current challenge at the Dream Factory.

Our Movie:
They Cloned Tyrone

Redesign one of our cards in your own way
or
Use something Twice

This time I really cloned and this little bear was perfect for it!
I stamped and cut out the bear and hat twice each. Colored the bears with alcohol ink markers. - I didn't need to do this for the hat because it was stamped on a piece of gel print.
The ATC is also a piece of gel print on which I stamped a background pattern (on the left) an a few trees. I taped the bottom edge with washi tape then stuck on the bears and the HELLO sticker. Hope you like my twins! :))

Happy cloning!!

Katzelkraft - And the Adventure begins

Hi everyone!

Have you already noticed that Katzelkraft has released new stamps? -
Take a look ;)) - you'll see, the new collection is just fantastic!

But that's not all!
Another great piece of news is that Katzelkraft has acquired the Stampotique brand and that these stamps will soon be available in the Katzelkraft store
...so the adventure begins!
They will start with a brand new collection and then gradually produce the older stamps as well.
I'll let you know as soon as I have more news.

For my first project, I used the new Combi VW and combined it with the somewhat older Pabo, dog and accessories.

I used the paper piecing technique for Pabo's outfit and accessories. - This saves coloring :))
I colored the Combi and the dog with watercolors and alcohol ink markers.
For the background and ground, I simply dabbed on some color.
The sentiment I stamped in three steps so that it fitted in well.

As you can see, these new stamps can also be combined really well with the older Katzelkraft stamps. - The possibilities are endless! ;)

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Birthday wishes

Hi everyone!
Time for a quick reminder about our current challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
We're celebrating

National Look Alike Day
Anything thats twice or look alike goes!

I stamped a butterfly bush flower and a butterfly twice.
Stamped another butterfly at the top of the flower. Colored the flowers with aqua markers and the butterflies with metallic watercolors. Made a few blue watercolor spots in the background and then die cut the panel into a rectangular shape. I adhered it to an embossed panel and then to a blank card.
Heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment and added it to the card.

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - ...it's been one of those days

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card.
For today's ATC-card I used again one of those funny gorillas

I stamped the gorilla, pineapple and coconuts, colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them out.
Stamped a few background patterns on a stenciled leftover and cut it to ATC-size. Pasted a couple of leaves cut out of washi tape in the top left corner and then stuck on the grumpy gorilla with its pineapple and coconuts.
Used letters and words from the Whatchamacallit set to create the text.

Hope you like it. See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

B-Day Girl

Hi everyone!
Let's go for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
The movie for this month is...

They Cloned Tyrone

Redesign one of our cards in your own way
or
Use something Twice
This can be the same stamp/image twice
or.....
.....something that is similar, like 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, 2 people, etc.
(...we don't want to take the cloning thing too seriously, because even with cloning things can go wrong... )  LOL

In my case, I used two washi tape strips with a bear peeking out from behind them.

I first colored the bear with watercolors and then added darker shades with alcohol ink markers. I used metallic watercolor to color the gift, party hat and cupcake. I cut out the bear and glued it as well as the washi tape to an embossed background that I had previously splattered with black ink.

Added the B-Day sticker. That's it!

Have Fun!
