Beary Sweet

Hi everyone!
Time for a little reminder about our current Dream Factory challenge.
The movie for this month is

The Little Things
Anything goes - but it has to be little!!!

Do you like gummy bears? I love them and hope the one who receives this card likes them too.

The gummy bear is from the Stampin'Up set "Just keep swimming". It consists of three stamps from which you can compose it.
I stamped the basic stamp with different colors on damp paper. Sprayed the paper with water again and covered it with a second sheet of paper. Separated the two papers and kept the slightly saturated version as background. Stamped the gummy bears, trimmed the panel and backed it with black paper.
The sentiment is composed from three different SU stamps. I punched it out with a speech bubble die, backed it with black paper as well and glued it on with foam pads.

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Seasons's Greetings

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project, for which I used the beautiful red cardinal from the new release.

The background I created with PaperArtsy Infusions - Green Man. I sprinkled the pigments on the paper, sprayed with water and then used a second paper to spread the colors. I stamped the fir trees after it dried. Stamped the cardinal on Bristol paper, colored it with alcohol markers, cut it out and adhered it. The sentiment I heat embossed with gold embossing powder, fussy cut it and glued it on.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

All is calm, all is bright

Hello everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week our challenge is called

TIC -TAC -TOE

My choice was for the center vertical column - Glitter, patterned paper and deer.
The beautiful image with the deer is from the same pad as the patterned paper it is backed with, and there is silver glitter cardstock between the two.
I just stamped a pine branch in the upper left corner of the image and a sentiment.

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - We're all mad here

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project and two more fun critters from the new release.

Designer paper serves as the backdrop this time. I lightly sponged the area of the fir trees and the back snow hills with Tumbled Glass (Distress Ink) and then brushed a few spots with Wink of Stella - which unfortunately can't be seen here.
In the foreground I applied snow-white gloss and spread it with the help of a piece of paper.
The mad fellows are stamped on Bristol paper, cut out and glued on. I colored  them with watercolors and alcohol markers. The sentiment is from the same set. - I additionally added the "Don't worry".

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Owl I want for Chrismas is you!

Hello everyone!
Let's go for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
The theme of this week is

Christmas Critters

The base for the owl consists of two paper scraps whose edges I tore off.
The black paper that serves as backing I also torn off to fit.
I stamped the owl/spider and the spider web and placed the image in the frame embossed with a die. Stamped the owl again on Bristol paper, colored it with alcohol markers, cut it out and adhered it.
I divided the sentiment into two parts.

Hi everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at the Dream Factory
The movie for this month is

The Little Things
This time we take it literally. So it should be something small, or contain something small!
e.g. - ATC, bookmark, mini tag, a card with only a small stamped area (CAS), or maybe a mini box or a tea bag....

I decided to go for an ATC on this topic. I love these little cards and I really should make them much more often....
The background is a gel print remnant. I thought it was perfect for this cute little mouse - one of the super fun new stamps from Katzelkraft
I colored it with PaperArtsy pigment colors Sunset Beach, Orange County and Royal Blood, cut it out and adhered it. The edges I stamped with a background design from Katzelkraft. The sentiment is from Craft Sensations.

Have Fun!

Normal people scare me

Hi everyone!
A little reminder about our "Carve A Pumkin Day" challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club...

Carve a Pumpkin Day takes place every year on October 31.
It is no surprise that this day falls on the same date as Halloween,
because pumpkins are one of the symbols of Halloween. So please scare us ;))

These quirky fellows are actually garlic heads. (see below)
I just had to change their stem a bit and they turned out to be scary Halloween guys.

I made the background with PaperArtsy Infusions - Green Man and Royal Blood.
Usually I sprinkle the pigments on paper, spray it with water and let the colors run. But this time I pressed a second paper on top and sort of squished the colors.
You can also help it along with your finger or a brush. Sometimes I sprinkle the pigments on a stencil, spray it with water and press the paper on it. There are umpteen ways to have fun with the pigments!
The garlic heads, sorry, the scary pumkins, I colored with alcohol markers, cut them out and glued them on. Added the sentiment and some twine. Hope you like it.

Katzelkraft - Happiness is a choice

Hi everyone!
Have you seen the new Katzelkraft stamps yet?
I used two of them for today's project, but there are many, many more fun critters to discover in the store!!

As soon as I saw this mouse, I immediately had the Cordettes song "Lollipop" in my head.

The background of the card is made from designer paper.
I sponged the edges with green ink and added some stamp prints and black splatters.
I colored in the mouse with alcohol markers, cut it out and backed it with a piece of designer paper I created on the computer. - This had to be labeled "Lollipop" of course!
The sentiment is embossed on black cardstock. I cut it in two so it wouldn't look too bold.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)
