You are unbeatable

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create

Anything Goes w: optional twist: "Play Time"
(create something featuring FUN)

My husband and I love playing tennis.
So I made him a birthday card where we’re playing tennis together. Lol :))

The card was super simple to do!
I stamped the mice and then colored them using just a few colors.
I set up the net and put some grass under the mice’s paws.
After that, I added some color in the background, glued on some clouds, then cut out the scene with a die.
First, I glued the cutout onto a slightly larger dark background, then onto patterned paper, and finally onto a blank card. Added the strip with the sentiment—and that's it!
The sentiment says: You are unbeatable

...and you, what kind of sports do you do?

Hope to see you play along with 613 Avenue Create

Bee Amazing

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our Dream Factory challenge

The Beekeeper

Create something with BEES on it

Stamping, masking, stenciling, coloring—I had so much fun making this card!

The bees (Katzelkraft) are actually flies, but with the right colors, they do look quite bee-like, don't they?
After stamping the basket (Studo Light) and the flowers (IndigoBlu), I masked the hole thing and stenciled the background with Peacock Feathers (Distress Oxide) using a stencil from Craft Sensations.
After that, I stamped the bees and colored everything with alcohol ink markers. The honeycomb-like part of the basket I brushed with Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide) and Spiced Marmalade (Distress Ink).
Finally, I stamped and embossed the sentiment and glued it on. I really like how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by!

Slacking off...

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our challenge at

"The Little Things"

The theme is:
Flamingo and/or Elephant
with the option:
Anything Goes

Remember: The challenge blog focus on small card formats,
such as ATCs, tags, Memorydex cards, Mini Moo cards, bookmarks etc.

There was still a bit of the stenciled paper left over that I used here. Just added another piece of scrap paper to complete the background of my ATC.
As for the image, I combined two stamped images into one. From one of them, I cut out the swim ring and placed the flamingo on it instead of the original cat. Stamped the sun.
To color this, I used alcohol ink markers and acrylic pens (the dots on the swim ring).
Underneath the flamingo, I stamped tiny fish and colored them with glitter gel pens.
To finish the ATC, I embossed half of the quote, stamped the other half, and then glued it along the edge.
...and last but not least, I stenciled some pink circles at the bottom, and that was it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Relaxing Day

Hi everyone!

I have the great honor of being a guest designer at Allsorts Challenge this month.

The theme for July is:
At the Seaside

Anything related to ocean and beach

First, I brushed the beach with Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand (Stampin' Up). I masked that area and repeated the same process for the ocean using Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide). Painted the foam at the water's edge with a white Posca pen. Stamped and colored the sun, and brushed the edges of the card with Salty Ocean.
I then stamped the image of the relaxing lobster. Colored it with alcohol ink markers. Added the shadow and stamped the sentiment. To make the sand look a little more realistic, I tied two felt-tip pens together and then dotted the entire beach with little dots.

Thank for stopping by!

Well, for some of you, they’re a piece of cake; for others, a real challenge.
We hope you fall into the first category! LOL

We're talking about

Using an acrylic block, I created a background with blue and green Distress Oxide inks.
I then stamped the ground and the sentiment. Cut out the mouse and strawberries from a picture book (Deco Time) and glued them on. Done!

who's a dishy fishy ?

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken

Our playground for this challenge is the
Underwater world
Ocean, lake, or river—it doesn't matter.

Today, I really went all out with the colors.
I must say, those fun stamps from Art by Marlene are just begging for it!!

I colored the two large fish, the crab, the trident, and the seashell with AM markers and cut them out.
The jellyfish, seaweed, and tiny fish were stamped directly onto the background. I intentionally didn’t color them too heavily so that they would remain clearly in the background.
Next, I added a narrow strip of washi tape to the bottom and finished the scene by gluing the elements in place. I heat-embossed the sentiment before sticking it on.

Holy Guacamole...

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our Dream Factory challenge, and I would like to briefly remind you about it.

CODE 3

Use at least 3 colors of your choice!
Black, white, gray, and brown are neutral colors and may be used in addition.

It's my little sister's birthday, I made her this fun pop-up card.

I punched out different borders in various colors and layered them on top of each other, then stamped the sentiment and attached the little horse to a string so it can swing back and forth.

Now for the inside of the card.
First, I set up the pop-up mechanism—three pieces of cardstock, and it works like a charm!
I then stamped the images, colored them in with alcohol markers, and cut them out with scissors—the things we do for our little sis, don't we!

On the right, I stamped nachos, chili peppers, limes, avocados...
For the left, I stamped a strip of patterned paper with nachos and backed it with green cardstock.

I glued some of the images onto a rectangle of orange, green, and white cardstock, stamped the remaining part of the sentiment and glued the die-cut “60” underneath. The last few images and birthday wishes found room on the small flap on the right. Finally, I glued the rectangle I had prepared earlier onto the remaining part of the mechanism.

Now, let's see, how the thing works...

Thanks for stopping by!
