Hi everyone!
This month we are celebrating the
Plant a Flower Day
and also our 4th Blog Birthday
Flowers are things which bring joy and happiness. With spring just around the corner, it's the right day to start planting. So... pick a pot or a planting space, collect your supplies and get to it!
A beautiful designer paper is the backdrop for this easel card
... and then it was a lot of gluing to put all the die-cuts and hand-cut things together into a harmonious scene.
For the fence, I embossed a piece of brown cardstock. Finished with dark brown ink. Cut it into pieces and put them together. The equipment such as rubber boots, watering can, gloves, flower pots and tools, are stamped, colored and cut out by hand.
All flowers are punched out from designer paper and colored with alcohol ink markers.
It took me hours!!! - But I think it was worth it, don't you?
The sentiment says:
Needs a lot of love
♥
and a little water
every day
- I think my little garden scene reflects this day very well. What do you think?
........................
I also have a little surprise for you!
The following prize was donated by me for the
DotMCC blog birthday and will be raffled among all those who participate in the challenge.
Good luck!
Have Fun by planting flowers! ;))
