Time for a little reminder about the current Dream Factory challenge.

Our film for this month is

This month it's all about Paris, 

with a fabulous movie as inspiration.

I would have liked to use a stamp from Montmarte but unfortunately I don't have one. 

So again the Eiffel Tower had to hold out! 

 

The card is kept very simple to bring the little Lady (AALL&Create) in the foreground. 

I sponged the upper area of the light water green cardstock with Peacock Feathers (Distress Oxide) -  unfortunately not very good to see. I then stamped the Eiffel Tower, sentiment and cloud and embossed the cardstock. Splattered a bit of black ink on it and added the girl. Colored the cloud with a white crayon. Hope you like it.

Just Go

Hi everyone!

For today, I was inspired by our recent trip to Australia. We've been home for a week now and I'm slowly getting back into a normal routine - a ten-hour jet lag is not easy to cope with!

We traveled by van for six weeks - a whole new travel concept that I really liked!

I tried to put that on this tag, inspired by the colors on Isa's June challenge moodboard.

The tag is a gel print made with acrylic colors. Initially it was yellow, with red circles. I sponged the bottom area with green, and the left area with orange to get the color scheme.

Then I stamped the van and the trailer, colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them both out.  I also cut out the arrows underneath and the "Just Go". 

Next, I stamped a world map at the bottom and adhered the cut out pieces. 

I then stamped the text, the stitched heart and the friendly sun. Hope you like it.

Katzelkraft - Geburtstags-Kuchen

Hi everyone, 

It's Katzelkraft day! :)) 

These two sweeties are already looking forward to my brother-in-law's birthday. He is a dog lover...

The stenciled background is a remnant of a card swap I did a long ago. So all I had to do was stamp and color the dogs. I used aqua markers to do this. I then fussy cut the dogs and adhered them to the card. Added an embossed sentiment - done! It says: Did someone say Birthday cake?

Katzelkraft - Over the Moooon

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day!!!! ...always a good day for me :))

I stamped the moon on a Distress Oxide gel print. Then I stenciled sunrays and circles.

Next I stamped the cow on Bristol paper. Colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. 

I tore off a piece of acrylic gel print and glued it to the bottom corner. Stamped poppies (SU), glued the cow on top and stamped the poppies again. I colored them with alcohol ink markers.

I stamped a little daisy, colored it, cut it out and stuck it between the cow's teeth. The sentiment (SU) I heat embossed on black cardstock and added it to the card.

OH LA LA

Today starts a new challenge at the Dream Factory

This month it's all about Paris, 

with a fabulous movie as inspiration.

The tag was already in my stash, I just added a little gesso to lighten some of the dark green gel print. 

Using the AA&LL Create stencil #115, I stenciled a large circle pattern to the tag. Stamped text and circles around the edges and added washi tape to the bottom edge.

I then stamped the Eiffel Tower, bicycle, lady moo, and the letters for Paris on Bristol paper and cut them out. Colored the bicycle and Eiffel Tower very little with alcohol ink markers. Only the lady moo got a bit more color.

I stenciled the letter O and H on Bristol Paper and cut them out. The letters L and A I stamped twice and cut them out as well. I put the letters together to form OH LA LA. 

Finally, I adhered everything to the tag and attached a colorful ribbon to the top.

A little reminder about the Happy Birthday to you Day challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club...

I stamped the image, colored it with alcohol ink markers and masked it. Then I stenciled the background with Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide). Removed the mask. Added a strip of washi tape and stamped the sentiment. The card is backed with rainbow foil. You can see a little of the iridescent colors at the top of the card.
