Hugs and Kisses

Hello everyone!
It's half time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you of our current challenge "The Broken Circle"
This time we'll just take inspiration from the title and the movie poster. (see below)

Keywords: Circle(s), tatoos ...or whatever else you can discover on the poster.

My card is very simple. I just die cut circles and adhered the negative parts with adhesive foam pads to a panel, which I had previously sponged with Distress Oxide inks.
The sentiment was already printed on vellum. I die cut this as well and adhered it to the largest circle.
Finally, I added three sequins for more interest. Hope you like it.

HoH❄️Ho

Hello everyone!
I have the honor to support the Christmas Craft Creations team this month. The theme is "No Stamping" and this is my second inspiration for it.

The little die-cut village had been on my craft table for a long time, and the background is a leftover piece from a Brusho Pigments experiment. I sprinkled on some gold splatter, put both in a frame and backed it with patterned paper before adhering it to the square card base.

The HoH❄️Ho is die cut once from black foam, and once from gold cardstock and adhered to each other.
Finally, I die cut Santa's reindeer team and adhered it to the frame slightly sticking out. Hope you like it...

Have fun with the challenge!

Katzelkraft - Les Dodus ATC

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with new Katzelkraft creations.
For today I made 4 ATCs with the "Les Dodus" stamp set.... (see below)

I created backgrounds with Distress Oxide, Brusho, Izink opaline pigment and two different stencils and then just stamped the images and sentiments.
I backed two of them with purple cardstock and the other two with black cardstock.

Here again in a single view.

I hope you like them! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Glory to the new born king

Hello everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we just want

Stamping

I stamped the beautiful image from Stampin'Up onto kraft paper using Early Espresso.
I then used a water brush pen to color some parts of the image with very little of the same color, and a touch of two other colors. I glued the Kraft panel to a white card base and then stamped the sentiment and star from the same set.
Hope you like it!

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - You are the best

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation.
Today I made a pop-up birthday card, combining several stamp sets.... (see below)

Doesn't look like it, but this card almost drove me crazy, and when I say that, it means something!!
But for good friends, we like to put in a little effort! ....right?

The card was made very quickly, and the mechanism was as easy as pie! But....
I had to figure out the right dimensions - where to fold and where to glue,  and that was really Swiss precision!!!

I think I tried at least 6 times!!! And when I "thought" I finally had the solution, it was two more failed attempts to the result!!! - Soo simple and yet sooo tricky!!!
I had a card as a template, which I got from a friend. She had made it according to this tutorial. But since I used different measurements for my card and didn't know the tutorial, I fared poorly! So, be warned, if you don't follow the measurements exactly, you'll end up like me!!! Hahaha

Otherwise, I proceeded as usual. The backgrounds are done with Distress Oxide and stencils. All the images, except the uncolored ones and the flower, are colored, cut out and glued on.

Here you can see how the mechanism works.
Maybe I will make another card like this and a tutorial...

Hope you like it! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Bringing you Christmas cheer

Hello everyone!
Today is 52 Christmas Card Throwdown day on my blog. This week's challenge is

Winter Sledges

The deer with the sleigh was already printed out and has been on my craft table for ages...
....finally he made it onto a card!
First I colored the image with alcohol markers and glitter gel pens. Then I wet the background and colored it with watercolors. I stamped a couple of fir trees directly onto the card. The slightly larger one on the left I stamped, colored and cut out before, then adhered.
I glued some glittery stars to the background, then stamped the sentiment and added a few shadows here and there. I backed the panel with lilac cardstock and adhered it to the blank card.

Have Fun!!
