ATC - Der kleine Fuchs und seine Freunde

Hi everyone!
Just a little reminder about our current challenge at the Dream Factory
The movie for this month is

The Big, Bad Fox and Other Tales...
a fun French cartoon
about a a Fox that thinks it's a chicken, a Rabbit that acts like a stork,
and a Duck who wants to replace Santa Claus.

The keyword for this challenge is: Easter with one of the animals mentioned - which I'm sure won't be difficult!
Of course, you can also get inspiration from the poster or the movie itself! click

I had a piece of a stenciled background left over - just big enough to make this ATC.

I sponged the edges with Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide) and backed it with black cardstock. Then stamped the birdie, mushrooms and some text before I added the fox.
Was really super easy to do! Hope you like it.

Katzelkraft - A Merry Christmas from Mr. Grumpy

Hi everyone!
Tuesday is my Katzelkraft day. For this week I made a Christmas card with one of the grumpy penguins and "Les Bordures".

One of my favorite techniques for backgrounds is sponging. I topped this one off with splatters and different stamps to give it a little more pizzazz.
I stamped a script first, then the snowman (AALL&Create) on top. So it looks like I stamped it on an old book page. I colored the snowman and penguin and cut them out.
I framed the card with a border from the "Les Bordures" set and adhered the snowman, penguin and hat.
Finally, I added the "snow". It is made of crumpled and torn watercolor paper on which I glued white glitter.
One of the sentiments is cut into labels and sticked on, the other is stamped directly onto the card - next to the penguin.

I'm sure you like this grumpy guy :)) - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Waterfall card - Glory to the Newborn King

Hello everyone!
Ready for a new 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge?  This week we are asking you for a

Moving Element
- something on the card front that moves,
for example a flap, tag or hanging embellishment

I decided to go with a waterfall card. It's easy to do and always looks good!

The background is made with an embossing folder that cuts at the same time.
I then stamped the images and texts on the small squares, which are backed with Merry Merlot and Crumb Cake cardstock. The large text on the first square is silver embossed.
I die cut a hole in the flap and attached a piece of brown ribbon to make it easier to pull out.

Here are two closer views

...and a video showing how it works.

Katzelkraft - Monochromatic

Hi everyone!
It's Katzelkraft day and I am back with a new inspiration :))
Today with a tag...

For this tag, I followed the instructions given in ISA's live, so that's why it is monochromatic green.

I created the background with Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn (Distress Oxide) and three different stencils. I lightened some zones with bleach, recognizable by the bluish looking spots. Stamped grids, dots and numbers. Sponged the edges with Black Soot (Distress Oxide).
The bunny and the flies I stamped on gel print scraps, cut them out and pasted them on the tag.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

The Holly and the Ivy

Hi everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
The theme of this week is

Holly and/or Ivy

A friend recently gifted me this beautiful stamp. I never thought I would need it so soon!

I colored the image with alcohol markers, fussy cut it and glued it on patterned paper. Added the sentiment and three enamel dots. I cut the panel a little smaller than the blank card and glued it on - that was it!
The coloring took most of the time! Hope you like it.

Lettuc be happy...

Hi everyone!
I'm back with new polaroids for the POLAROID POPS CHALLENGE

No. 7 - How does your garden grow

I combined with stamps from #477 (cat), #607 (fox and wagon) and #479 (flower) as well as a leftover bird that I had hand-drawn for a previous polaroid.
The vegetables from set #448 were too big, so I stamped them on shrink plastic, colored them with crayons, cut them out and shrinked them with the heat gun. I pasted all of this onto a background that I made with the gel press.

No. 8 - Monochrome
For this I used the set #580

The background I sponged with Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I sprinkled it with water, but that wasn't very effective. So I used white acrylic paint, which looked much better! I stamped the circles and then really liked the background. I colored the snowman and the dog with Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire, which I used like watercolor. I liked the sentiment better cut into pieces!

...and now for Charlie - No. 9 - Famous face
For this I used set #428 (Charlie, tickets, sentiment, clapperboard) and #516 (kid)

I stamped the images on Bristol paper, colored them with watercolors, cut them out and pasted them on a background made with the gel press. I left the tickets and the sentiment slightly sticking out at the edges to give the image more dynamism.

Hope you like them.
