Ooh ooh ah! 🙊

Hello everyone!
Just a quick reminder for our current challenge at the Dream Factory. - This month's movie is

Night at the Museum
La nuit au musée -- Nachts im Museum

.... Monkeys, mummies (but no Halloween please), horses, cowboys, Egypt, dinosaurs, etc.

Neither monkey nor dinosaur, Indian or cowboy can be found in my stamp sets - so I had to fish again an image (coloring picture) from the Net! Hahaha

Otherwise, the card was super easy to do. After coloring the monkey I slightly sponged the sheet with blue ink, sewed the faux stitches to the edges with a quilter wheel and stamped the monkey scream. Finally I stuck the sheet on a white base card.

You still have two weeks to take part in this challenge and I hope that I could inspire you!

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas everywhere!

Hello everyone!

Couldn't resist to try my new dies ...

.... here is what came out!

I got them last week but....
the weather was so sunny and warm, our grandchildren were here .... it would have been a pity to waste this wonderful time for crafting!
Today it is gray and wet outside - so no regrets to stay at home and make the Cuttlebug work!

I created this little village by doing two layers with two different rows of houses. I just removed the parts of the windows and stuck some colored paper behind them. I distanced the two rows with self-adhesive foam.
I sponged the base card with blue ink and stuck the little village between the the card and the panel with the oval that I had previously embossed. To finish I added some die cut stars and a bit snow (white gel pen)
The edges of the card are glued flat - only the center of the card is bulging!

Thanks for your visit!

Winter Sports

Hello everyone.
Wow, just in time!! - Only a few more hours, to join the challenge at Christmas Card Throwdown.

I was late, but I did it!!

I am not very rich in stamps on the theme of winter sports but I own a pair of ice skates and that should be fine!
......and I was so exited to use my brand new embossing folder!!

I splashed some black ink on the base card. I cut the circle in the embossed panel, stamped the sentiment/text and glued it to the card. Then I stamped and colored the ice skates, fussy cut it and stuck it to the card using foam pads.

The text says something like this:
small winter pleasures
rolling in the snow & return to the warm home to savor a good chocolate in front of the fireplace

I wish you a nice and sunny weekend
See you soon!

Night ...at the Museum 👻

Hello everyone!
We have a new challenge at the Dream Factory! - This month's movie is

Night at the Museum
La nuit au musée -- Nachts im Museum

If you do not know the movie, here are some key words:
Monkeys, mummies (but no Halloween please), horses, cowboys, Egypt, dinosaurs, etc.

Do you like my dinosaur ?? I found it here. I traced it on paper, colored and fussy cut it. Then I sponged a white paper panel with green and blue ink, spritzed some water for more interest and stuck the dino on it.
I stamped and cut the words and glued them next to the cute monster.
I stuck the panel on the white base card, and voilà!
...ah, yes, I also added a tiny cloud on the upper left corner  and a bit glossy to the eyes.  😉

This topic gives many possibilities to let your creativity run wild! - Can not wait to see what you are going to do with it!

See you soon!

Just for you

Hello everyone!
Today, I'll show you a card that I made last month. - It will slip gently between the pumkins and the christmas trees." hahaha

... and by chance, it fits with the challenge at Just Add Ink, ....because of the strawberry! 😉

I copied the cupcake by hand on watercolor paper and I colored it with watercolor - that makes sense, doesn't it?
I embossed and sponged the base card with light blue ink.
I cut the image and added the sentiment, pasted it on black cardstock and then stuck it to the card. Voilà!

Maybe you like it!

A new old idea! 😉

Hello everyone!

I have already made this card (click) a few years ago. At that time I used a ribbon because it did not go well with a paper strip.

This time I tried again with a paper strip and look, ----- it worked!

I cut a white cardboard slightly smaller than the base card and watercolored it in light pink.
I colored two white paper strips (0,4 x 31 cm) with Lemon Lime Twist (Stampin'Up) and glued them together in the lengthwise.
I began the folding with the straight strip. - Just by eye, no measuring tape or so!
Once finished the folding, I turned the fir and put a small piece of double-sided tape on each end of the folds. Once done, I turned the fir again and stuck it to the pink background, starting by he straight strip, up to the top! "branch by branch".
I stamped the sentiment three times in a row without re-inking (is this the right word?) and moved at each time slightly to the left.
To finish, I stuck the panel to the base card and added a tiny red foam star to top of the fir.

The advantage of paper is that it is more docile than the ribbon and and so it is easier to put on - I still do not understand why it was a problem at the time!
.... On the other hand, I think the ribbon looks more elegant!

What do you think?

Peace on Earth

Hello everyone!
Today I have the head full of ideas and so I come with one more card!

The inspiration for this card came to me when I saw the superb card of Stephanie Lanzalotto on Muse Christmas Visions.
I also wanted to do something with a globe - so I searched and found ...a globe, a little cradle, and the very little sentiment "Peace on Earth"!
I die cut the Big Circle Burst (Memory Box) into a white cardstock that was slightly smaller than the base card.
I stamped the little Jesus on the disk (obtained by the previous cut) and then the globe, having first masked the part with the cradle. I used watercolors for the globe and felt-tip pens to color the cradle.
To give a little more shine, I stuck a piece of silver paper between the base card and the part with the circle. I hung the "christmas ball" with a cap and a piece of silver twine to the panel and glued it to the card. To finish I added the sentiment "Peace on Earth".

It's been a while since I've used the big circle and ... Bang! - Now I have made two cards with it! (See the post just before)!

Thanks for your visit!

Haunted Halloween

Hello everyone!
It's me again, because I have a second card for the new challenge at House of Cards!
You know this month we want to see CAS Halloween and/or Colors. (see the inspiration photo below)

... here is the brighter version 😉

I die-cut the Large Circle Burst (Memory Box) into a white cardboard that was the size of the base card.
Then I sponged the base card with Daffodil Delight, Fresh Fig, Pumkin Pie and Smoky Slate (all Stampin'Up). I lightly marked the free space and then stamped the haunted castle and the spider - the bat was added with a handmade mask.
I sponged white paper strips with Smoky Slate, stamped the sentiment, cut them out to separated words and glued them to the card. Voilà!

BOO 👀

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at House of Cards!
This month we want to see CAS Halloween and/or Colors. (see the inspiration photo below)

... dark but CAS!

At first I was not very sure that I wanted to make such a dark card but now I adore it!
The base card is white with black cardstock on the top. Before sticking the black part, I die cut the pumpkin and I embossed the bottom edge.
On the base card, I painted the area of the pumpkin with orange watercolor and glued the black sheet on the card.
I die cut a pumpkin from orange cardstock, accentuated its edges with orange ink, colored its stem and its tendril in green and glued it in the hollow part of the black sheet.

I stamped and fussy cut two small pumpkins and a spider to which I also added some colors.
I stamped the spider web directly on the card as well as the few leaves on the left.
I die cut the letters BOO and stuck them as well as the pumpkins and the spider to the card.
