Those who don't believe....

Hello everyone!
It's half time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you of our current challenge "Maleficient
Its about fairies, elves, flowers, nature, and of course witches.

Because of the covid, we are once again locked up for a month,
and I don't think we will see the end of the tunnel in the near future!
I take the opportunity to make some cards and here is the one I made today.
I combined the weird snail "Les Scargots" and a sentiment "English Quotes" from Katzelkraft with the beautiful fairy from Sweet Pea.
A bit smooshing and some splatters, and the background was done!
I stamped the images and colored with alcohol markers - the little fairy was stamped a second time and fussy cut.

Hope you like it. - Have Fun and stay safe!!

Katzelkraft - Smile...

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!
Today I used the sheep from the sets "Les Scargots" and "La Ferme Des Animaux" and combined them with some stamps from other companies. (see below)

First I stamped the two sheep and masked them.
Then I sponged the background with distress oxide inks. Stamped the grasses and bushes in the background and added the insect. Removed the masks and colored the two sheep as well as the insect with alcohol markers.
Finally I stamped a tree and a few more grasses in the foreground and added the sentiment.

I hope you like it! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!

I decided for a stair step card. (here closed)
I used white cardstock for the card base and covered it with patterned paper.

The inside of the card

I stamped some images and colored them with gel pens.
... sponged and stenciled the X-MAS and stuck some washi tape here and there.
If you want to know how to make a stair step card, please view this video

Katzelkraft - Be Brave...

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!
For today's card I used a beautiful quote stamp and combined it with one of the funny guys from the Pabos - Aviateur set.

Dare something new, and be brave enough to be bad! How well said! However, I hope that my little student pilot will not have to use his parachute! 😏

I stamped the Pabos pilot and masked it. Then I sponged and spritzed the background with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean - removed the mask and colored the image with alcohol markers. Finally, I stamped the quote in two parts and added washi tape at the bottom.

I hope you like it! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!

Winter Sweaters

Hello everyone!
It is Saturday, and Saturday is for 52Christmas Card Throwdown
For this week's challenge, we propose the theme of winter sweaters.

There is nothing like wearing a chunky sweater on a cold winter day!
It keeps you warm and makes you feel comfortable.

This card was made very quickly! I stamped the polar bear once on scratch paper and once on the card. I cut out the one on the scratch paper and used it as a mask for the one on the card so that I could make the background without staining my image.
I first sponged the background in light blue, then I put on a stencil and applied the same color a bit more strongly. Then I stencilled with purple to set small color accents.
I colored the polar bear's sweater with alcohol markers and sponged a little light blue under his paws.
The sentiment is stamped on small black labels, cut to size and glued on.

Hope you like it! - Have Fun with the challenge!

Happy Halloween

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory. For the month of October we've selected the following movie

Maleficient

You can show us everything about fairies, elves, flowers, nature, and of course witches.

The little witch from Stampin'Up just arrived yesterday - I inaugurated it right away! :)

I sponged the background with Distress Oxide inks - my favorite technique at the moment. ;)
Befor cleaning my brush, I spritzed water on it and used the remaining ink to made the splashes.
Then I stamped all pictures you see - the crow was masked to place the castle in the background.
I stamped the little witch a second time on white paper, colored it with alcohol markers, cut it fussy and glued it on the already existing print.
To highlight the spider and the spider web, I traced the lines with white gel pen. The spider I colored again with neon green gel pen. The crow is colored with a blue crayon.
For more fun and a creepier look I glued some eyes made of glass beads on the branches.

I hope that I could inspire you and make you want to join in!
Have fun with the challenge!

Katzelkraft - Christmas Cheer

Hello everyone!
Today is Katzelkraft Day on my blog and I have another one of their fantastic new stamps for you to discover!

And yes, it's another Christmas card!
I don't know why, but I love making these kind of cards - they always come to mind very easily!

Now on to the making of!
First, I made masks of the caracters and positioned them on the card to get an idea.
Then I started stamping - first of all the Santa hat, which I then covered with its mask to stamp the little man (Mr. Pabos). I covered the man to stamp the animal (I think it's a fat racoon), and masked the animal as well.
Ok, now that everything was masked, I could do the background.
First I sponged the moon and...
...you guessed it, I masked it! 👍
I also put a piece of torn paper on the lower third of the card to keep the aera free for snow and then I sponged the rest of the background. I took off the mask of the moon and stamped the fir trees.
The background was ready, I could now remove all masks and color the images with alcohol markers.
Finally I stamped the sentiment, a couple of branches (lower left corner), added a few accents here and there, and as a last touch I spritzed some white ink on the card.
The muzzle and reins are a little extra fun that I added at the last moment.

Hope you my funny little scene! -  See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

DotMCC - Challenge #20 - Reminder

Hello everyone!
This month's Day of the Month Card Club Challenge is about coffee. It's
International Coffee Day

To remind you, I used one of Katzelkraft's new stamps.
The poor animal already has withdrawal symptoms....!

I made a mask from the image and stuck it to the card.
I sponged the background in a blue-green shade and then stenciled the design with brown ink. I lightened a few small areas with drops of bleach. I removed the mask, stamped the image and colored it with alcohol markers.
I stenciled the word "coffee" with black ink. The three other words are stamped on small labels, slightly sponged with black ink and glued to the card.
Finally I added Washi tape to the bottom. It says "That's life"

Hope you like it. - Have Fun with the coffee theme!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!
As you know, Saturday is 52CCT day on my blog. This week we invite you to play with the following colors

Blue - Kraft - White

I took blue cardstock and a piece of corrugated cardboard, which I tore at the top end. I marked the end of the corrugated cardboard on the  blue carstock and then stamped the firs with Crumb Cake (Stampin'Up).
Deer and bunny (both from cats on appletrees) are stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed in white.
I colored the fir trees with a white crayon and added thick but subtle snowflakes to the background.

I heat embossed the "Christmas" on vellum - then punched the "Merry" out of blue glitter cardstock and glued it on the vellum as well. I attached the vellum to the corrugated cardboard and glued it to the blue card.

I hope you like the way I used the colors and hope you have fun with them too!
