Katzelkraft - All I want for Christmas

Hi everyone!
Today is Katzelkraft day.
Here's my very first Christmas card of the year :))

The young lad holding the Christmas tree is called Smirkle - he's such a nice guy!
He's one of the characters in the Daniel Torrente collection from Stampotique by Katzelkraft.

I sponged the background with Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide), then stamped some snowflakes and stenciled on some swirls and hearts.
I colored Smirkle with alcohol ink markers and the balls in the tree with glitter pens. I added a strip of washi tape under the boy's feet. I made up the sentence using letters and words from various sayings/quotes.

Hope you like this sweet little boy. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Thank you soo Mush

Hi everyone!
Time for a quick reminder about our current challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
We're celebrating

National Tic Tac Day

Actually,
this day is dedicated to the little breath-freshening mints, but we've come up with something different!
We added a "Toe" to the Tic Tac and so it became a Tic-Tac-Toe, which you can see just below my ATC.

What luck that there are mushrooms to protect you from the rain!

Once again I used scrap paper for the background. As it was a bit dark, I brushed it with gesso, glued it onto thicker  paper and cut it to the size of an ATC. I then stamped on the images, water drops and text. Stamped the mushrooms, the ladybugs and the frog again on Bristol paper. Colored them with alcohol ink markers, cut them out and glued them on. I finished by sticking on some leaves and the sentiment.

My choice was the left vertical row (Die, Thanks, Free)

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Wicked

Hi everyone!
Today is my Katzelkraft day, but
it's also the start of a new challenge at the Dream Factory - no problem, I combined both in one.
This month's movie is

Hotel Transylvania

October 31st is Halloween, so it's almost time for trick-or-treating again!
Funny, fantastic, scary, Hotel Transylvania is a monstrously good movie.
We invite you to an
Anything Goes Halloween Challenge

I don't know if there are any witches in the movie, but Daniel Torrente's little one had to be on my card.
As you can see below, I used a few more Katzelkraft stamps, as well as stamps from other brands.
The background of the card is scrap paper, one of those papers you try out stamp impressions, stencils and colors etc. on before you finally use them.
I just added some silhouettes and background stamps as well as red ink splatters. The little witch and the sentiment, I cut out and pasted it onto the card. I used alcohol ink markers for coloring.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Harvest time

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card featuring the pickup from the last release :))

Autumn arrives and harvest time begins. The pickup truck is a very practical means of transportation.

I first created the background with Distress Oxide inks, then stamped the trees and grass. I stamped the pickup truck and vegetables on Bristol paper. Colored them with watercolors and alcohol ink markers, then cut them out and pasted them onto the background.
The Samuel Butler quote I found on the internet. I stamped it with a rotary alphabet stamp on slightly yellow-red colored paper, cut it into labels and added it to the card.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Happy Halloween

Hi everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
This month we are celebrating

Actually,
this day is dedicated to the little breath-freshening mints, but we've come up with something different!
We added a "Toe" to the Tic Tac and so it became a Tic-Tac-Toe, which you can see just below my card.

I chose the bottom horizontal row (Free, Critters, Leaf) and picked up the Halloween theme for the free choice.

Except for the spider web and the sentiment, all parts are cut out and glued on - I colored with alcohol ink markers.
The leaves were stamped with Distress Oxide inks on gel print remnants.
I added washi tape to the bottom of the card before sticking the different elements on.
Finally, I added a piece of scrap paper to the left and brushed the edges of the card with Chipped Sapphire (Distress Oxide).
