Katzelkraft - The best is yet to come

Hi everyone!
I'm back with another Katzelkraft card.

Confetti, firecrackers, glitter, champagne...
hope you have everything ready for this New Year's Eve!

I used some older Katzelkraft stamps for this very simple New Year's card:
I heat embossed the beautiful Background halftones stars in gold. The small stars are actually snowflakes
but they look good as stars too, don't they! - Tried to symbolize fireworks with them.
I then stamped the quote and the tiny happy new year. I cut the panel slightly smaller than the blank card, glued it on and drew a fine gold border around the panel.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Frohe Weihnacht - Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!

Today is Christmas Eve and the year is almost over.
I hope you can spend the festive season with your loved ones.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas
and
Good Luck, Health and Creativity for the New Year

I made these beautiful paper lanterns for the Advent season.
They are quite easy to make with a little patience and attention to detail.
If you are interested, you can find detailed instructions for a larger paper lantern here.
....mine only have a diameter of about 6 cm.

With these lights I would like to draw your attention one last time to the current challenge at the Dream Factory
You can still take part until December 30th and show us your Christmas cards and crafts. Thank you!

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!
Time for a quick reminder on our current Day of the Month Card Club challenge
We're celebrating

National Sock Day
...we want to see lots of them on your cards and crafts.

My socks (Stampin'Up) are hanging from a fir twig I made using Katzelkraft's beautiful Winter Wonderland set.
I stamped the twig with Tranquil Tide and Pear Pizzazz (SU). To get the watercolor background, I stamped Pear Pizzazz on a sheet of acetate, sprayed it with water and then pressed it lightly onto the twig/card. This allowed the colors to blend gently. I also added gold speckles for an extra festive touch.
I first colored the socks with watercolors and then with alcohol ink markers. I cut them out, glued them on and stamped the twig on them again. The beautiful sentiment is also from Katzelkraft.

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!
I'm back with another Katzelkraft Christmas card.

This card will fill my stash for next year, as all the cards for this Christmas are on their way.

The card was very easy to make. I adhered a leftover piece of a stenciled background to the left edge.
I then stamped the Christmas tree and the sentiment. Colored the image with alcohol ink markers and finally embossed snowflakes on the right half of the card.
As a finishing touch, I added a few glittery accents here and there using gel pens. Done!

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Katzelkraft - is it Christmas yet?

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card.

First I stamped the cat and masked it.  Then I worked on the background. I used Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide) to brush the blue color and Mermaid Lagoon to stamp the snowflakes. Added some text prints to the top and right. Used a stencil for the stars.
Next, I die cut the pine branch, bauble and hanger. Colored the ball with metallic watercolor and alcohol markers.
Once it was dry, I stamped the cat's reflection onto the bauble, then attached it to the branch with gold thread.
I removed the mask from the cat and colored it with alcohol markers. Splattered gesso on the card and placed a few blue scribbles under the cat.
Finally, I put together the sentence from various stamps and stuck it next to the cat. I colored the bottom half of each word with Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide) and added snow/gesso to the top.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Don't Stop Believin'

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
This month we are celebrating

 National Sock Day

This quirky celebration isn’t just about keeping your toes toasty
– it’s a day that weaves together fashion, charity, and a touch of whimsy.
Just use them as you like on your creations.

Used pre-cut images for today's card.
On a patterned background, I added torn strips of white paper at the bottom to suggest snow and splattered them with light blue ink for greater effect. I then glued on the pre-cut images and added silver threads to the baubles.
Finally, I stamped on sentiments from Stampin'Up.

Happy weekend ;)
