Northpole delivery

Hi everyone!
I have the great honor of being a guest designer at Once Upon A Time this month.
The challenge is inspired by the book "The Polar Express (see below)

It wasn't easy to get the Northern Lights the way I wanted, but in the end I'm really happy with the result.

To obtain the night sky with the magical light, I used different Distress Oxide colors (see below). I then stamped the fir trees with Tranquil Tide (SU). - I had to stamp and cut out the fir trees on the right separately because they were not silhouette stamps. The same goes for the little girl and the locomotive.
I then colored them with watercolors and alcohol ink markers.
After gluing on the cut-out pieces, I splattered the card with gesso and added a few accents here and there with a white Posca pen. The sentiment comes from a pad of printed lettering and quotes.

I really enjoyed making this card :))
I hope you like it and perhaps you'll find some time to paly along with the Once Upon a Time challenge.

Have a wonderful first day of Advent!
