Thank You ...

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create

The theme is Anything Goes w/optional twist: "Thank You".
(create a thankful project)

I wanted to send flowers...

I simply cut a remnant of designer paper into four equal pieces and glued them onto gray cardstock.
The designer paper was black and white, so I added a little color to the flowers to pep them up a bit.

I glued the four labels onto an embossed cardstock and stamped the sentiment next to them.
The whole thing is glued onto a blank card.

Hope to see you play along with 613 Avenue Create

Have a nice day!

Celebrate Halloween

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our current Dream Factory challenge, and I would like to briefly remind you about it.

COCO

Anything related to the
Day of the Death and/or Halloween

A while ago, I tried out the Blackout technique that I saw on a card on my friend Gundi's blog.
To save a long explanation, the technique is shown here and here ;)

I tried it three times and I don't think I'll be trying it again, because the technique uses a lot of ink and you need to have suitables embossing folders. I think floral motifs are more suitable than the ones I used. Well, at least I gave it a try!
I thought I wouldn't use them, but lo and behold, I liked one of them for my Halloween card.
I drew a few sugar skulls in different sizes because I don't have any stamps for them. I cut them out, stuck them here and there on the card, then added the embossed Halloween sentiments.

Happy Halloween

Thanks for stopping by.

Beware!

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

COCO

Anything related to the
Day of the Death and/or Halloween

No skulls, no skeletons, no ghosts, and not even well equipped for Halloween in terms of design paper.
What do you do in cases like this? Well, you do your best!
Luckily, I at least had a few pumpkins, a spider, a spider web, and a black cat. That's not too bad for a start... lol
I drew the skull with the candle by hand. It turned out that it's not that difficult to draw a skull :))
I colored in the pumpkin and the skull with the candle using alcohol ink markers. I cut them out and stuck them onto a gel print tag that I found in my stash. I also added half a flower, which I stamped onto designer paper and cut out.
The spider, cat, branch, and spider web were stamped directly onto the tag.
Finally, I stamped the word “ Beware!” and attached a thin cord to the tag.

Never Give Up

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create

The theme is Anything Goes w/optional twist: "Think Pink".
(create something for breast cancer awareness month)

Pink is the color to wear in October...

A few die-cut letters (AVEC), twice the half flower from Katzelkraft, a few splashes of color here and there, a little stenciling and doodling, and all that in pink!
I lightly brushed the edges of the card with Picked Raspberry (Distress Oxide), the same color I used for the letters and for stencilling. The half flowers, I colored with aqua markers and alcohol ink markers.

Hope to see you play along with 613 Avenue Create

Have a nice day!

Happy Birthday - Double Slider Card

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our current Dream Factory challenge, and I would like to briefly remind you about it.

Harald and the Purple Crayon

Anything Goes - In mainly purple.

You can use any color, but  PURPLE  has to be the main one!

Today, something a little less usual from me...

A few days ago, we made a little project in our Stampin'Up group.
By pure coincidence,
the colors of this beautiful floral card perfectly match the theme of the Dream Factory...

So, I would like to remind you of our challenge with this double slider Birthday card.

Here you can see how the thing works ;)

Thanks for stopping by.

Fly with me

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

Harald and the Purple Crayon

Anything Goes - In mainly purple.

You can use any color, but  PURPLE  has to be the main one!

I had absolutely no idea for this challenge and rummaged aimlessly through my stash, hoping to find some inspiration.
I came across a poorly stamped tree (Katzelkraft) on purple cardstock and two stamp sets whose images could be combined well—an idea began to take shape!
I cut the panel to ATC size. Pasted die-cut and colorfully painted stars and hearts onto the snowflakes that originally adorned the tree, then dotted the swirls with a white Posca pen. I stamped a tiny white text on the left edge of the ATC and drew grass with the Posca pen on the bottom edge. So far, so good!

Next, I colored bird and balloon with aqua markers and glitter gel pens—if you look closely, you can see a slight shimmer in the bird's feathers. ...but unfortunately, not in the balloon.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment and cut it into labels. Cut out the bird and balloon and glued everything on.
...I'm quite happy with the result :))
