Katzelkraft - 'tis the Season

Hi everyone!
Our “Dream Factory” challenge, which I would like to remind you of briefly, is now entering its second half.
This month's movie is

Surf's Up
It's mainly about penguins and surfing, but surfing is not essential.
Something with only penguins is ok!

...it's also my weekly Katzelkraft card, which I'm a little late for.

For the background, I tore off a piece of white glitter cardboard and stuck it on. I then brushed the card with Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide) and stamped the fir trees.
I stamped the penguins on Bristol paper, colored them and then cut them out. I did the same for the accessories, such as scarves, earmuffs, glasses, skis and the beanie. I put the pieces together and then glued the dressed and ski-equipped penguins onto the card.
Finally, I applied some liquid glue and sprinkled it with artificial snow. Used a Posca pen for the snowflakes in the upper part of the card. Stamped the sentiment, cut it out and glued it on.

Have a wonderful day!

Katzelkraft - PARIS

Hi everyone!
I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft card.

In a few days there will be a card swap in our craft group but I can already show the card
because nobody's looking here ;)
The theme is PARIS + Gold.
Usually, when we think of Paris, we first think of the Eiffel Tower,
but this time it was Notre Dame that came to mind.
I'm sure you've all seen the catastrophe of the burning cathedral in the media.
Today, it has been restored and is even more beautiful than before!

....but of course, I couldn't miss the Eiffel Tower (Craft Sensations), this city's most famous symbol!

Perfume, fashion, love letters, coffee, croissants, glasses of wine and musical notes also come to mind when talking about Paris. I tried to incorporate all this into the small strip in the background. (all the same set as the Eiffel tower)
I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower in gold and fussy cut it. Stamped the word PARIS and cut it out as well. The cathedral I set in a Polaroid frame.
I stuck washi tape on the background strip. Added all the cut-out elements and finally stamped the last two words: "ville lumière" - which means “city of light”.    ...I made a whole eleven cards ;)

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! :)

Enjoy

Hi everyone!
Time for a quick reminder on our current Day of the Month Card Club challenge
We're celebrating

National Hot Tea Day

It's still cold outside, so a hot cup of tea is really welcome!

I stamped a cup, a spoon, a teabag and a teapot, colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them out.
Used a Distress Oxide ink pad to make a few blue strokes on a card. Pasted torn washi tape to the lower part and then glued on the cut-out images. Drew some tiny hearts between the teapot spout and the cup and colored them.  Added the sentiment. Done.

Have Fun!!

Ride the Wave

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

Surf's Up
A funny movie that is mainly about penguins and surfing,
but you can also be inspired by other elements of the movie.

It may be cold outside, but the beautiful, sunny weather has inspired me to create a colorful summer card. ....besides, it's summer in the movie too.

To create the waves, I tore designer paper into strips and glued them onto a background brushed with Pumkin Pie (Stampin'Up). It didn't take much to color in the surfboard and the penguin. - The penguin's shorts I cut out of patterned paper.
I stenciled the sun with Barn Door (Distress ink). Stuck two die-cut fish between the waves and wrote down the saying I found on Pinterest by hand. Added two die-cut seagulls and a few splashes of white.
I'm happy with how it turned out.

Katzelkraft - Don't be afraid

Hi everyone!
I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft card.

Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. And what better pets to dress up than those from Katzelkraft?
Besides those stamps have been collecting dust... ...they really needed some fresh air!

I stamped the animals, colored them with alcohol ink markers and then cut them out. I dressed them with the clothes of the Pabos - also colored with alcohol inks and cut out.
I heat embossed the quote on a black strip. Added the bird and stuck everything onto a stenciled background.
Rounded off the card with a few dots on the right edge and a strip of black paper at the bottom - with white Posca pen doodles.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Katzelkraft - First I Drink Tea!

Hi everyone!

Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you
Let's kick it off with a fun Katzelkraft card!

I designed this card for Katzelkraft
and also for the new DotMCC challenge, where we are celebrating
National Hot Tea Day

For the floor, I stamped the chess pattern from the great stamp set The King's Gambit twice. Added Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide) to the background.
I then stamped Pabo and the sofa on bristol paper. Colored them with watercolors and alcohol ink markers. Cut them out and glued them on. I placed a small flower pot next to the sofa and gave Pabo a cup of tea. Finally, I stamped the sentiment with single letter stamps.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)
