Joyeux Noël

Hi everyone!
Let's go for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week we challenge you with the colors

Red + Green

For the background I made a negative print from a stencil to keep the stars and dots white. The green corner comes from a failed background. Since I can not throw anything away, a piece of it has now found use. I die cut the reindeer once from black foam and once from green cardstock, glued them together and added it to the card. - It loses a few presents (stickers) as it scurries by.
I did the same process for the sentiment, but this time I used glitter cardstock and black cardstock.

Have fun with the colors!

Hoppy Easter

Hi everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
This month we are celebrating

Find a Rainbow Day

If you need a super quick Easter card - this one is easy peasy to make!
I printed the bunny bodies using Distress Oxide ink pads and my thumb. Then drew the faces, ears and feet. The sentiment I stamped with single letter stamps. - Ok, I didn't add the yellow ....there was no more room! Ha ha

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Fur and Whiskers

Hi everyone,
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card.
This time I took inspiration from a card I made earlier this year :))

I LOVE this quirky bunny. He can be used so many ways - like actually all Katzelkraft stamps.
His outfit consists of a top hat, an alarm clock (Funny Accessories) and an umbrella (Stampin'Up).
The fun sentiment I discovered on Deborah's IG page. ......couldn't help picking it up :))
The daisies behind the rabbit are from Stampin'Up. The left border I sponged with Cracked Pistachio and then stenciled ovals with different Distress colors to suggest Easter eggs. Everything else is colored with alcohol ink markers.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
As usual, the first week of the month, we challenge you with a sketch. (see below)

I used designer paper as background and a die-cut oval frame for the snowman. - Actually, he was already in the trash, but I pulled him out again because he was still usable for the little that can be seen of him. Along the left edge and behind the oval I added washi tape. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on gold cardstock. Cut out the stars from glitter paper that I adhered to foam before cutting. Added the little things. Done! :))
You probably noticed that I flipped the sketch. ;))

Have Fun with the sketch!!

Frohe Ostern

Hi everyone!
Time for a little reminder about the current Dream Factory challenge.
Our film for this month is

A fun movie that we connect with the upcoming Easter.
So we want to see Easter bunnies and other Easter animals in your projects.

Lots of fussy cutting and sponging on this card! The only die cuts are the fence and the top of the grass, everything else you see on this card I cut out with scissors.✂️
The meadow and sky I sponged with Lemon Lime Twist (Stampin'Up) and Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide), using a mask for the clouds.
For the dark green strokes, I used the Tranquil Tide ink pad from Stampin'Up. Some of them got white flowers (gel pen). The chick, eggs and flowers I colored with alcohol ink markers. The sentiment is from Crealies.

Katzelkraft - Frohe Ostern

Hi everyone,
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project.
The Easter card season has started...

It seems that bunny is wondering why the Easter eggs are hanging on the tree....

I started by making the sun with my homemade stencil and Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide).  I then stamped the grass, bunny, branche, flowers and eggs. Stamped the bunny a second time on a piece of background paper from my homemade stash. I colored some areas with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out and added it to the card. Stamped some more grass. Colored the Easter eggs and flowers with markers.
To the left and right of the sun I added a few blue spots to suggest the sky. Taped two strips of washi tape to the bottom edge. Stamped the sentiment and colored it with markers. I trimmed the finished card and added it to a white card base.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Merry Christmas - Mixed Media

Hi everyone!
Let's go for a new 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge.
This week we want you to use this technique:

Mixed Media

First, I made the background, having already chosen the majestic stag (Katzelkraft) as my main subject.
The panel for the background is from my stash. It was already painted with blue acrylic paint. I sponged a few areas with Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot (Distress Oxide). Stenciled some leaves. Made stars with texture paste. Added washi tape and a few black splatters. Stamped text on the lower part.
I stamped the stag on the finished panel. Placed the newsprint. Stamped the stag a second time. Placed the torn corrugated cardstock and stamped the stag a third time. Colored it with alcohol ink markers.
I attached the corrugated cardstock and the piece of newsprint to the panel with foam tape, slipping crumpled raffia tape between the two.
The sentiment from Stampi'Up is heat embossed and also attached with foam tape.
