Katzelkraft - There's no place like home

Hello everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration. Today in the simple way...

Wanted to do something simpler, and it nearly turned into a CAS card.

I created the background with a homemade stencil and made some splattern with bleach. Stamped the tiny house, embossed it clear, colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut it. I adhered the house and stamped the tree and the grass. Heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and mounted it with foam tape.
(The tree is from an older Katzelkraft stamp set that is no longer available)

Wanna see the video of how the card was made?

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone!
Christmas is just around the corner - and Christmas cards are needed every year to wish our families and friends a Merry Christmas! If you're a regular participant of the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenges, you can be sure that you'll have no shortage of cards at the end of the year!
But, let's not stop - the year isn't over yet!!! - Here's this week's new challenge!

Snow Globes

The snow globe is made on a base of two circles. The white one is stamped with animals from cats on appletrees and firs from Scrap Plaisir. The second one is die cut from a piece of design paper. I stamped a black base, cut it out and glued the pieces together to make the snow globe.
The large sentiment underneath is also cut from design paper - I garlanded it left and right.
All the pieces found their place on an embossed card, on which I colored some of the snowflakes with purple crayon.
Really a very easy-peasy card! - Hope you like it.

Besinnliches Weihnachtsfest

Hello everyone!
As you know, Saturday is 52Christma Card Throwdown day on my blog. This week we can play with

Tags on Cards

Stamped the sentiment on the blue cardstock panel and embossed it. Made then small splotches with black ink and let them dry. I attached an organza ribbon and two silver cords to the panel and adhered it to the card blank.

I die cut the tag, stars and village and glued them on as well.
The ground of the village is covered with glue and sprinkled with white glitter. Hope you like it.

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Haunted Night

Hello everyone!
It's Katzelkraft day on my blog and today I'll try to frighten you! 😱

Looks creepy, right?! 🎃😁

First I sponged the moon and masked it. Then I stamped the Castle and M. Pabos - Sherlok Holmes and masked them as well. In the next step I sponged the background with Distress Oxide inks and as soon as I was satisfied with the result I removed the masks from the moon and the castle. - M. Pabos remained masked!
I stamped the silhouettes of the trees, the sentiment and the spider - removed Pabos mask and colored him with alcohol markers. To make him look even scarier, I added two vampire fangs and a few drops of blood to his face.
I placed a cemetery to his left and a bottle of energy drink and a pumpkin to his right. 😁

I hope you're very scared!! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

I used:

Beautiful

Hello everyone!
As you know, on my blog every 15th and 30th of the month is dedicated to the Dream Factory.
So it's time for a new challenge. For the month of August we've chosen the following movie

Ostwind, ARIS Ankunft
Stormy / Windstorm 4
Keywords: Horses, freindship, nature

Synopsis: Since Mika's accident, Stormy hasn't been the same. He's become impulsive and anxious, doesn't sleep and won't even eat. But when young Ari meets Stormy for the first time, a very special bond develops between the two. Ari feels immediately attracted by Stormy and seems to have a special effect on the famous stallion....

No stamping today! I punched the sentiment out of white cardstock, glued it on a black strip of cardstock and embossed it. I punched the horse's head from design paper and glued it on the black stripe, which I in turn glued on a white card base. I added three enamel dots for the final touch.

Now I hope you love horses and wanna play with us.
We are looking forward to your creations!

Silent Night

Hello everyone!
It's saturday and it's time for a new 52CCT challenge. This week we want to see Silhouettes on your cards.

I chose the Three Wise Men from Katzelkraft for my card.

For the background I used blue, white and a touch of black acrylic paint.
I applied the colors more or less blurred using an old credit card.
After drying I stamped the wise three kings and stars (both Katzelkraft) on the panel.
The kings are stamped with black Stazon ink and the stars and sentiment with white acrylic paint. For this I spread the white paint thinly on a piece of acetate, pressed with the stamp like on an ink pad and then stamped on the panel - that works very well!
After stamping I traced the stars with yellow alcohol marker, cut the panel to size and glued it on a white card, keeping a white border at the top and bottom.

Have fun with our new challenge!

Be Brave!

Hello everyone!
Today I created just for myself, not for one of the challenges where I am a member of the design team. Look what has come out!

Well, do you like my pink Halloween card?

I did the background with Distress oxide Picked Raspberry and sponged the edges with Berry Burst and Fresh Fig (Stampin'Up). The two trees and the stone wall below are Katzelkraft stamps.  The stonewall is colored with Smokey Slate and Tranquil Tide (Stampin'Up). The cobweb, the cemetery, the falling leaves and the bat are from Scrap Plaisir. The two flying bats are made with a stencil I made myself. Before I stuck the label  with the sentiment on, I added a few black and white splashes.
I like it ....and you?

Black & White

Hello everyone!
Sorry, I'm a little late today... :(
Black and White is wanted at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week!

I designed two really very simple cards for this...

For the first card I stamped the snowflakes and the sentiment several times with Cloud White on a black cardstock. Before I stuck the black panel on the white card, I tied a ribbon with a nice knot between the sentiment and the snowflakes.

With the second card I did the opposite. I masked the border of the white cardstock and stamped small trees and stars in black. I framed the stamped area with a black marker and glued then the panel onto a white card whose edges I had previously coloured black. I stamped the sentiment on two small labels, stapled them together and stuck them on the card with foam pads.

Christmas is coming soon!
Enjoy playing with us every week, so you'll have all your cards by the end of the year! ;)

Have Fun!!
