Hello everyone!
Today I am very excited! - Why? - Because this week I am guest designer at 52CCT!!
I created my card based on the sketch at 52CCT and...
...I absolutely wanted to try my new embossing folder!
Three quarters of a piece of cardstock (slightly smaller than the base card) are embossed with my new toy! :))
....and so that everything goes smoothly, I have already stamped the sentiment before embossing!!! 👍
I covered the unembossed part and sprayed silver shimmer spray on the embossed side (unfortunately not visible on the photo ...even with good eyes), then sponged the edges with gray ink.
I also embossed a strip of turquoise cardstock - this time with a piece of linen fabric, to get that pretty texture that I love so much. - Stamped some stars and snowflakes with Versamark and marked the edges with a quilting wheel.
The Christmas balls are cut from holographic paper and fixed with foam pads.
Christmas is in less than two months ....maybe you need some more cards! 😉

RépondreSupprimerI like that idea of stamping the sentiment first. A beautiful card and a good way to part cover the card with embossing and still have a CAS look. Thanks for being our guest designer at 52CCT this week. x
RépondreSupprimerYou made such a beautiful festive card. I like the way have you used our sketch :-))
RépondreSupprimerI am happy that you are our GDT!
Wonderful dimension from your gorgeous dry embossed background. So pretty with the subtle silver and gray. The strip of turquoise really adds a punch of colour, along with your hot pink ornament. That holographic paper really shines with the beautiful colours and looks amazing with the layered larger ornament that is elegant with the star pattern. Wonderful card! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
RépondreSupprimerI love this embossing folder and how you've used it on some of the card and the linen embossed strip as a border! Your ornaments are so pretty! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!
RépondreSupprimerElle est très chic cette carte Rosi, j'aime ces boules très colorées qui donnent la touche festive, merci d'être notre guest désigner cette semaine, biz
RépondreSupprimerWhat wonderful texture throughout this beautiful design. I must try the linen fabric embossing, such a brilliant approach. The nontraditional colours work magnificently, lots of attention to detail too.
RépondreSupprimerA beautiful card, thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Such a fabulous card and loving the layout and what wonderful embossing folders. The blue strip with the linen effect embossing folder looks great. Love how you've used the spray and edged the edge in the grey. Wonderful Christmas card and wonderful addition to the gallery at the CAS mix up X Congratulations on guesting too.
RépondreSupprimerThat turquoise stripe just makes the whole card pop. Nice job! Thanks for playing at Scrap from your Heart. I wish you the best of luck.
