Katzelkraft -- Relax, it's not a competition

Hello everyone!
I'm here with a new Katzelkraft inspiration.

Katzelkraft had the great idea to design the feet for the ostrich - now you can create totally fun images with this complementary stamp.....

From the beginning I had this idea of a pompom in my head and couldn't get rid of it.
I had to think a bit, but once I found the solution, it was a lot of fun making this hilarious bird.
I sponged the background with Distress Oxide inks and stamped then the oistrich and his feet - whitened some areas with bleach and then colored with alcohol markers.
I made a pompom out of two colors of wool - cropped it a little bit and gave it the shape you see. As it was a little too light for my taste, I colored it with brown and black alcohol markers. Last step was the sentiment, which is also from Katzelkraft.

Hope you like it - see you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!

  5. What a fun creation, a great idea indeed regarding the stamps, numerous possibilities giving us those stamps broken down into sections. Cleverly constructed and I love the humour of this fabulous creation. Many thanks for sharing and joining in with the Creative Artiste Challenge. Creative wishes Tracey (DT)
