Joyeux Noël - Rouge ou Noir?

Hello everyone!
It is Saturday, and Saturday is for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown on my blog!
For this week's challenge we would like to see Gilding Flakes or foil on your cards.

The stamp and the gilding are quite imposing, so I kept the card very simple.
Just a few golden splashes and a sentiment on the plain background.

I stamped the image with Essential Glue Pad (Tzukineko) and applied ultra fine gold glitter 'cause I don't have gilding flakes, then I gently removed the excess with a blush brush.

I made a second version in black - which one do you prefer?

On this one I used VersaMagic Cloud White for the sentiment
and a darker gold glitter for the snowflake.

...not easy to capture the golden shine!

Happy stamping and have fun with all those golden things!!
