Hi everyone!
A little reminder about our "Carve A Pumkin Day" challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club...
Carve a Pumpkin Day takes place every year on October 31.
It is no surprise that this day falls on the same date as Halloween,
because pumpkins are one of the symbols of Halloween. So please scare us ;))
These quirky fellows are actually garlic heads. (see below)
I just had to change their stem a bit and they turned out to be scary Halloween guys.
I made the background with PaperArtsy Infusions - Green Man and Royal Blood.
Usually I sprinkle the pigments on paper, spray it with water and let the colors run. But this time I pressed a second paper on top and sort of squished the colors.
You can also help it along with your finger or a brush. Sometimes I sprinkle the pigments on a stencil, spray it with water and press the paper on it. There are umpteen ways to have fun with the pigments!
The garlic heads, sorry, the scary pumkins, I colored with alcohol markers, cut them out and glued them on. Added the sentiment and some twine. Hope you like it.
