Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
The theme of this week is
Winter Countryside
For this peaceful winter scene, I used Katzelkraft's beautiful "Winter Cabin" and "Winter Wonderland" stamp sets.
I stamped the log cabin on Bristol paper, colored it with Alohol markers, cut it out and glued it on a gel print background. Stamped the trees and the fence directly onto the gel print. Embossed the sentiment in white.
I mixed gesso with white glitter and used it to cover the ground and the branches of the trees. While the gesso was still wet, I added more glitter. - It truly looks like real snow!
As a final touch, I splattered on thick snowflakes with white ink. Hope you like it!

Was für eine traumhaft schöne Winterlandschaft, liebe Rosi. Die Karte strahlt auch so herrlich, als würde die Sonne leuchten. Und das mit dem Schnee ist irre, genialer Effekt.
