Beautiful Friendship

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
This month we are celebrating

Random Acts of Kindness Day
Random acts of kindness can range from a small compliment
to an inspiring gesture that could be life changing.

The background I made with the negative of a stencil. For the flowers and leaves I used the paper piecing technique. I added a few strokes with an alcohol ink marker and tiny liquid pearls to the flower centers. Stamped the sentiment, and the card was done!

Paper piecing is:
when you use patterned paper to make a stamped image, like in my card above, the flowers and the leaves… you can see, they are not colored, but cut out of patterned paper.
First of all, stamp the image onto a blank card. Stamp the same image(s) onto patterned paper of your choice. All you have to do then is to fussy cut out the image(s). Once cut out, simply stick them directly over the stamped image(s) and color the rest as you like.
You can also watch this video to get an even better idea of this fun technique.

Happy Paper Piecing!! ;))

Bises
