We're heading into the second half of our current Dream Factory challenge, and I wanted to give you a quick reminder on our film and theme
WILD
This month we want you to be inspired by the movie poster (see below)
...and I really, really was!!!
After more than 15 years, I finally tried my hand at watercolor painting again...
...I ventured to paint the entire poster!
For a first attempt after such a long time without practice, I'm quite satisfied. The only thing I didn't dare to do was to include the girl in the watercolor painting right away—I painted her separately, cut her out, and glued her on.
I stamped a quote from John Muir that I found very fitting onto black cardboard using an alphabet rotary stamp, embossed it, cut it into strips, and glued it on.

RépondreSupprimerWow!!! Das Du so lange nicht mehr mit den Aquarellfarben gearbeitet hast, sieht man überhaupt nicht. Einfach großartig und davon bin ich noch weit entfernt. Die Idee, das Mädchen separat zu zeichnen finde ich gut, gibt dem ganzhen Bild etwas mehr Dimension. Bises
