Even though it may seem that way, winter isn't over yet!
Full of joy, the little boy slides down the snowy slope on his sled.
I created him using the paper piecing technique.
This means that you stamp the image onto different design papers, cut them out, and then put them together. So there's no need for coloring. Of course, you can add a few color accents here and there, as I did with the cap and face, but most of the time it's is not necessary.
This technique is also a great way to use up some leftover paper! ;)
The sled is die-cut from a piece of kraft cardstock that contained a few spots of melted embossing powder. The snow slopes are made of glitter cardstock, the edges of which I painted with a blue glitter pen.
