Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create! 

The theme is: Sentimental Star

(create something focusing on the sentiment)

Alternately "Anything Goes"

We always need birthday cards, don't we?

For this one, I glued small strips of colored cardstock onto self-adhesive paper and punched out the words “Happy Birthday” and the candles from that panel.

Next, I die-cut the elements of the birthday cake from colored paper scraps. Spritzed green and pink sparkling ink onto white cardstock and stamped the cake plate. I then glued the die-cut elements in place, backed the panel with a sheet of pink adhesive foil and pasted the whole thing onto a blank card.

Finally, I added some sparkle to the decorative parts of the cake using colored glitter brush pens.

 That's it!
