Katzelkraft - Cookies Day

Hello everyone!

Tuesday is my Katzelkraft day. The card for this week is made with the fun "Rats de ville".

Today also marks the start of a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club, so I've combined both into one post! 

This month we are celebrating

Bake Cookies Day

Sugar Cookie Recipe (source)

1 ½ cups powdered sugar · 1 cup butter or margarine, softened · ½ t almond extract

1 egg · 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour · 1 t baking soda · 1 t cream of tartar

· Mix together the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, almond extract, and egg in a large bowl 

· Stir in the rest once this is blended · Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours 

· Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 °C), divide the dough in half, roll out to a ¼inch thick sheet 

· Apply cookie cutters to get desired shape, and bake for 7-8 minutes until the edges are light brown. Bon appétit! 

Now let's see how I made my card.

Since I don't have cookie stamps, I had to come up with another solution! 

I found the cute cup with the gingerbread cookies on the internet. I traced it by hand and combined it with the rats from Katzelkraft. I also found some cookies in a brochure from the supermarket. I cut them out and pasted one into the stealing rat's hands and the other behind the holly branche. The background is sponged with Distress Oxide inks and stamped with snowflakes from Katzelkraft - a few splashes of white acrylic paint add interest. 

I colored with alcohol markers and watercolor. The sentiment is from Stampin'Up.

I think it is better not to irritate him! Hahaha

I found the little chef, the grill and the sentiment on the internet, copied it by hand and then put it all together to a little scene. I watercolored with felt-tip pens - except for the sky, which is sponged with Tempting Turquoise (SU)! The sentiment is handwritten!

To spice it up, I stamped a few tufts of grass into the green area! - I hope you like my little chef!

Except the sentiments, I used the whole stamp set "Perfect Mix" (Stampin'Up) for this card. I filled the empty places between the utensils with a few donuts and a heart (Craft Sensations). I colored with felt-tip pens. The letters of COOK are punched out of black foam, those of LET'S out of black cardstock, and those of YUMMY are stamped, fussy-cut and fixed with foam pads. - The word "SOMETHING" is stamped right to the card. I glued a small piece of Washi tape at the bottom of the card for more interest. 

I think it's a nice card for a hobby cook or baker - both for him and for her.

Pralinen Hausgemacht

Bei uns sind Plätzchen nicht so der Brauch aber Pralinen gibt es Kiloweise zu Weihnachten und ehrlich gesagt hatte ich auch gar keine Lust zum Plätzchenbacken! Die Kinder sind aus dem Haus und für uns zwei wollte ich mir diese Arbeit nicht machen.
.... was mich aber schon seit langem drückt, sind selbtsgemachte Pralinen.
           Also hab ich mir heuer ein paar Förmchen gekauft und ein bisschen experimentiert!!


Chocolats fait maison
Les cookies ne sont pas très commun chez nous, mais les chocolats, nous en mangeons des kilos à Noël et pour être honnête, je n'ai pas eu envie de confectionner des cookies! Les enfants sont partis de la maison, et pour nous deux, je ne voulais pas faire ce travail.
.... mais des chocolats fait maison, ça fait déjà longtemps que j'ai envie d'en faire.
            Alors cette année, je me suis acheté quelques moules, puis j'ai expérimenté un peu!

.... und das ist dabei herausgekommen!

Am Anfang ging es schon ein bisschen schmierig zu aber nach jeder Sorte kam ich besser damit zurecht und

für den Anfang bin ich mehr als zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis!!

Eins kann ich jetzt schon sagen:  "Pralinen kaufen, ..... nie mehr"!!

.... et voilà le resultat!

Au début, c'était un peu folklorique mais après chaque variété, je me suis un peu mieux débrouillé et

pour un début, je suis plus que satisfait du résultat!

Je peux vous dire déjà une chose: "acheter des chocolats, ..... jamais plus"!

Jetzt lass ich euch ein bisschen sabbern ;-)

und wünsche euch eine nicht zu stressige Woche ...

Maintenant, je vais vous laisser un peu baver ;-)

et vous souhaite une semaine pas trop stressant ...
