Let's sing together....

Hello everyone!
It's Saturday and time for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! This week is a theme challenge:

Choral  𝆔🎜♪🎝

All the stamps on this card are from Scrap Plaisir (now Créa Plaisir). I masked the penguin and the teddy bear so I could place the other subjects behind them. I watercoloured with felt-tip pens. I masked everyone to put the merry men in a snow hill.
I made faux stitches on the edges with a quilting wheel before backing the panel with brown cardstock.

As you can see on the stamp set, none of the subjects have open mouths or eyes - I had to open them to make them sing! :)

I hope you will enjoy this challenge! Have fun!

DotMCC - Challenge #3 - Reminder

Hello everyone!

Today I come with a new inspiration for our current Day of the Month Card Club Challenge.

The theme is...

Save the Rhino Day
...always celebrated on May 1st.

Let's celebrate as if there were no tomorrow
...that's what my rhino thinks while he plucks the guitar!

Actually it is a dragon but I removed the spines on the back and so it became a rhino :)) I found the funny guy on the net and copied him by hand on transparent paper and then with tracing paper onto the card. - His little poop also drums with ...ha ha ha!
The cactus (by Scrap Plaisir) was the last one I added by masking the two other images.
After the images were on paper, I watercolored everything with felt-tip pens, even the background!
I created the sentiment with the computer and printed it on the panel, which I then glued onto a red bordered card.

Have Fun with our new challenge
and schow us all your little, big, funny, chubby..... rhinos!
...and please don't forget that 3 of your fellow participants would be happy to receive a little comment 😉

There is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate!

Frosty Christmas

Hello everyone!
It's Saturday and time for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! This week we're colorful:

Brown Silver Turquoise

I love these frosty colors for this kind of cards and couldn't resist make two!

The design paper for this card is homemade. I sprayed silver and turquoise alcohol inks onto a Teflon sheet and quickly mixed the colours with the edge of an old credit card and then pressed the white panel onto it. I had to do this twice because alcohol inks dry super fast. Then I stamped the deer and the trees with early espresso (all Stampin'Up), but it looks like I stamped them before I colored the background - a lucky coincidence I really liked! I backed the panel with wood grain embossed paper. I covered the diecut sentiment (Scrap Plaisir) with Wink of Stella before gluing it on.

For the second card I used a background stamp that my friend Gundi gave me for my birthday. ♥
I used felt pens and water for coloring. I covered a few images with glue and sprinkled them with ultrafine glitter, for others I only colored with glitter gel pens or traced the lines - on the poinsettia and on the twig there are even some perl pen accents.... I added a silver string to the panel before gluing it to the brown base card.

DotMCC-Challenge #3 - Save the Rhino Day

Hello everyone!
Today we start our third Challenge at DotMCC! As with the first one, you also supported us very actively and variously during the second Challenge! - Thank you so much for all the great works you shared with us! 💗

Our new Challenge theme is:

Save the Rhino day
Always celebrated on May 1st.

This month we would like to draw your attention to the fact that there are animals that we may soon only see in the zoo! - The rhinoceros is unfortunately one of many, with today only five living species!!!

These massiv animals have lived on Earth for millions of years, but today they are threatened with extinction! Their habitat is becoming increasingly scarce, human greed knows no limits and these poor animals, just like elephants, are mercilessly killed for their lucrative horns!
Let us not forget that, like all other creatures, they belong to biological diversity and have been moving on Earth long before us!

Here is my chubby rhino...

I did it the cute way and one of the unicorns turned out to be a rhino!
Everything is hand-drawn and watercoloured with felt pens.

Let's hope that rhinos will not become a mythical creature like the unicorns!

Colourful, funny, curious, cute or crazy, show us your rhinos! - We are looking forward to it!

There is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate!
...and it makes us happy! 😉

Don't say no to cake...

Hello everyone!
I made this card over a month ago for my friend Cornelia! - It's time to show it ^^......

The cute frog is from Stampin'up. I colored with felt-tip pens and fussy cut it. The same thing happened with the cake and the flies (from SU too)! I glued all on the panel and added the sentiment! To add some texture, I stamped the edges of the white base card with a corrugated cardboard pattern before adding the finished panel. I think she liked it! 😊

All in pink!

Hello everyone!
Last weekend, my niece's daughter's holy communion was celebrated. - What an exciting day!
I made her a card for this memorable celebration.

I smooshed Picked Raspberry oxide ink onto regular card stock. After drying, I carefully sprayed pink ink on it with a brush - I wanted very fine splashes. I cut the panel to size and wrapped it in pink yarn on the left. I punched the outline of a square and the letters out of a bit stronger watercolour paper and glued everything onto the panel. I stamped a small dove into the square and then stuck the hand-cut crucifix to it. I stuck the panel on the card and covered the letters and the crucifix with Wink of Stella.

Jingle all the way...

Hello everyone!
It's Saturday and time for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! This month I have the honour to moderate the challenges and as always, it starts with a sketch. (See below)

I punched three openings into a white panel, stamped the sentiment and then embossed the panel. I marked the openings on a bigger grey cardstock panel and stamped the snow into the open areas - the fir trees are drawn by hand with a brush pen. Before I glued the white panel onto the grey one, I placed small snow hills underneath. I stamped the little deer, colored it with felt pens, fussy cut it and stuck it on the card with foam pads. - The comet was a last-minute idea....

I hope you have some time to play along...
Have FUN!

Life's too short...

Hello everyone!
It has been a long time since I made an interactive card but for my sisters birthday I had to make one! She loves cards with surprises!

A funny frog welcomes you with a nice sentiment...

...and the rest of the gang has gathered inside!

This card was made with different papers and scraps of my stash. All stamps are from Stampin'Up. The froggies are colored with alcohol Markers and fussy cut. The tiny flowers on the first view are colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Blushing Bride from Stampin'Up.

This short video shows how it works. Thanks for watching!
