A little something for you

Hello everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

I hope you enjoy this color combination....

Brown & Red

For today's card I used the Paper Piecing technique.

I stamped the animals and the Christmas tree on different design papers and cut them out. 

The sweater of the moose I stamped again on red design paper and cut it out as well. 

I adhered the pieces to a beige cardstock that I had previously stamped with snowflakes. Lightened a few spots with white crayon and gel pen and added the sentiment.

Katzelkraft - They say I'm stupid

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day and I'm back with another fun card.

For today's card I used the brand new Gorillas and Chipanzees stamps. 

 Real pranksters who have only nonsense in mind!

For the background I chose to use three different washi tapes.  The rest of the area I sponged with Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide).  I colored the gorilla and chimpazees with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out and added them to the card. The quote is from the Whatchamacallit set.

The most wonderful time of the year

Hi everyone!

New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

As usual in the first week of the month we have a sketch for you. (see below)

Hopefully your stack of Christmas cards has already grown nicely, because Christmas is getting closer and closer! It's hard to believe that the year is already over in three months!

For this week's sketch, I used an embossed background from my stash that I splattered it with blue ink. I then stamped three snowflakes (Katzelkraft) in different shades of blue, cut them out and backed them with matching cardstock. 

I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and added it to the card. Done!

Maybe I'll stick a rhinestone in the middle of each snowflake....

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club! 

This month we are celebrating 

National Mushroom Day

For this month's challenge, I went for a zine book. 

I'm sure you know these things that are folded from a single sheet! 

I had to help mine along with tape because I cut it a bit to size and then it wouldn't hold together. Ha ha ha

I had sprayed a sheet of paper with water and sprinkled it with Brusho pigments before folding it after it dried. 

It's been sitting on my craft table for weeks now!

Finally, I completed the pages of the booklet with stamps from Katzelkraft.

Mushpignons, birds, trees etc.

Last week I was mushroom hunting and found a lot of them.

Every day the basket was full of delicious boletus! :))

Katzelkraf - You are irresistible !

Hi everyone, 

Wow, Katzelkraft has released new stamps! Isn't that great!

I'm a big fan of their stamps and I'm super excited because they always provide a lot of fun!

Here we go!

For today I was tempted by a crocodile, a gecko and also some of the new flower stamps. 

I used masks to create this fun one layer card. I sponged the background with Distress Oxides. For the sentiment, I put together words from different sets. I used alcohol markers for coloring.

The funny animals can of course also be combined with most other Katzelkraft stamps, which makes the fun even greater! 

So, much fun and hours of creativity are guaranteed!
