Andrà Tutto Bene!

Hello everyone!
Until April 30th there is the wonderful action "Andrà Tutto Bene" at Heindesign.
It's about how the Italians encourage and applaud their COVID helpers with banners hanging on their balcony!
Andrà Tutto Bene - Everything will be alright!

We should just make a card that encourages.
The card sent in will be rewarded with a "special" Andrà Tutto Bene stamp!

Here's my card, which I've given a lot of thought to.

The background of my card begins with grey - bad times
turns into green - life and hope
and ends with blue - for freedom and peace.

The stamps I used are also symbolic. I used 13 stamps for my scene - hope that brings us luck!

- The jar means the strict quarantine, which we have had to comply with since the beginning of March.
- The ladder shows that there is a way and we have to strive upwards.
- The stars are for hope and the musical notes say that we remain optimistic and will not be subdued!
- hearts are for the unconditional love and devotion of the hospital teams and all carers in general.
- The numbers in the top right corner stand for...   ...you've probably already guessed!
- Last but not least the key, hidden behind grid and flowers, which I hope will be find as soon as possible!

- And a customized, orange envelope, because orange is the colour of encouragement and success!

I didn't particularly decorate the back of the card, except with a handmade stamp and a sentiment of encouragement that says something like: ... surpassing oneself to cross summits...

...hope you like my thoughts...

World Rat Day - DotMCC Challenge #14

Hello everyone!
After our birthday party at DotMCC it is now time for a new challenge! The theme for this month is...

World Rat Day
Celebrated on April 4

Anyone who keeps rats as pets is already in on the secret: these animals are friendly, loyal, intelligent, and very endearing. Unfortunately they’ve had a bit of bad press over the years....
but once you get to know them on a one-to-one basis, then all of their finer qualities will come to the fore.

Welcome to our World Rat Day challenge!
...of course you can use mice, too!!

I started by cutting holes in a sheet of cardstock. Then I placed the sheet on a card base and sponged the whole surface with two different shades of yellow and some orange ink in places. I took the perforated sheet off and enlarged the stains on the card base with a little more color. Then I stamped the rats, colored them with alcohol markers and fussy cut them. I also stamped the words for the sentiment, cut them to size and colored the edges of the labels with black felt-tip pen. I then glued the perforated sheet to the base card with foam pads, inserted the rats and added the words. The rat on the bottom right got a Basque cap - my little French touch! 😉

Have Fun!

Hier fliegen gleich die Löcher aus dem Käse...

...literally
Here the holes will fly out of the cheese soon (meaning that it's a real big party)

YAY!

Hello everyone!
It's Saturday and I'd like to introduce you to the new challenge on 52CCT. This week we have a sketch for you!

I stamped the image, inked it with alcohol markers and then cut it fussy. I die-cut a frame, inserted the image and backed it with patterned paper. I added a piece of washi tape "Merry Christmas" at the bottom of the frame.
I cut patterned paper in a slightly smaller size than the card base, glued it on and then fixed the framed image with foam pads.
I put three different washi tapes on paper, cut them into smaller strips and stuck them under the small label, on which I had stamped the word YAY! and which is also fixed with foam pads.
As a final touch I added some Wink of Stella on the snowflakes!

Have Fun!
...and take good care of yourself!

So Happy...

Hello everyone!
A quick reminder and a little inspiration for our current challenge at the Dream Factory. This month's movie is

Lassie
It's all about Dogs, Friendship, Farm life...

I combined a Katzelkraft dog with the cute "Spot the dog", which I got from Vicky from Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps for "the blog birthday at DotMCC".

First I sponged the background with Pumkin Pie, Daffodil Delight (both SU) and Wild Honey (Distress Oxide)
Afterwards I applied some rhombs using a stencil and Cracked Pistachio (Distress Oxide)
I stamped raindrops (Katzelkraft) and a grid (Bo Bunny) with the same ink. The dots (Bo Bunny) are stamped with Fired Brick (Distress Oxide), and the ripped cardboard with Cloud White (Scrap Plaisir)
The faux stitches are from Marianne Design and the sentiment is from SU
I colored the dogs with alcohol markers, cut them fussy and glued them on the card. Voilà!

Have Fun!!

Gather Together

Hello everyone!
As you know, Saturday is 52CCT day on my blog. This week we have a technique challenge - we are looking for.....

Windows

I started to stamp what was visible through the window onto a card base. I masked the image and sponged the background with Deep Lagoon (Versafine). Everything else is colored with colored pencils after removing the mask. The bear, the deer, the snowman and the lantern are also colored with colored pencils - fussy cut and glued on. - The little animals are really tiny and it was a very fussy job!
I added very fine white splashes and set it aside.
I cut off the two long sides of a big, punched label and so I got the windowsill and the upper frieze for the window. I glued a small strip of paper left and right and the window frame was perfect. The panes were cut using a small square die.
I then applied the bricks with a stencil - it would have been easier if I had done it before!
I stamped and colored the Christmas lights before I added the dog and the sentiment. As a final touch I added a very tiny strip of washi tape at the bottom and glued the panel on the card base. Et voilà!

It was a little long, but hey!
Have FUN!!
