Thank you

Hello everyone!
We're celebrating World Gratitude Day at the Day of the Month Card Club and I want to remind you with a simple thank you card. After all, this day is all about expressing your gratitude or appreciation to someone.

The background is stenciled with Distress Oxide Wild Honey and Iced Spruce, backed with black glitter foil and pasted onto a white blank card. I embossed the flower in black, colored the white spaces with different shades of gray, cut it out and used foam pads to attach it to the card. I added a simple thank you sentiment and a few enamel dots. Hope you like it.

Have Fun with the challenge!

Peace on Earth

Hello everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we want to see

3 Shades of Blue

Using 3 different blue aqua markers, I scribbled large stripes on acetate, sprayed with water and pressed it onto white cardstock. While this was drying, I die cut the village, trimmed it and stamped the sentiment, using 3 colors of blue.
I backed the panel with silver glitter cardstock, pasted it to the blank card, and then added the village.

Have Fun!

Thank you so mush

Hello everyone!
Tuesday is my Katzelkraft day. The card for this week is made with the awesome "Numbers" and "Herbes Folles" stamps from the new relese - but I had also treated myself to a couple of Katzelkraft stamps that I really wanted to use!
Today also marks the start of a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club, so I've combined both into one post! This month we are celebrating

World Gratitude Day
This day could actually be every day,
because there is always something to be grateful for - not only on World Gratitude Day!

The days are getting shorter and the nights fresher - you can feel autumn coming...
They say there are many mushrooms this year. That's good because first, it was going to be a thank you card, and second, it was these whimsical fungi that I really wanted to use today.

After stenciling the background and sponging it with various Distress Oxide inks, I stamped the numbers, textures and some grasses. Splattered bleach on it to make it more vibrant.
I stamped the mushrooms separately, colored them, cut them out and adhered them.
The word "mush" is die cut from foam and added to the heat embossed sentiment.

Hope you like it! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

'Tis the season

Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This month it's my turn to guide you through the challenges.
As always, we'll start the month with a sketch. (See below)

I sponged the background with Distress Oxide (my favorite technique) and splattered it with white ink.
Otherwise, I only used stickers - hope you like it. After all, they have to find a place too, don't they?
The deer jumps to the right, so I flipped the sketch to the left so it wouldn't jump out of the card! :))
The oval of vellum behind the deer, is attached with two strips of washi tape.
...and as a little extra, I added three little fir trees.

Have Fun!

Beware!

Hello everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration. Today with a little foretaste of Halloween.

The meerkats are scared - maybe it's a haunted house....

I sponged the background, stamped the images and set the shadows. Stamped the meerkats on Bristol, colored them, cut them out and glued them on. I colored only the roof and few windows of the house, otherwise I kept the colors of the background. The little cat, the spider web and the embossed sentiment are from Stampin'Up. Hope you like it.

See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Come fly with me...

Hello everyone!
It's half-time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you about our current challenge

UP / OBEN

Blue sky, a few clouds and a cute little dragon flying with a balloon...

I stamped the dragon, masked it and then sponged the background, using a die cut cloud as a mask. Colored the dragon, added the sentiment and a black die cut skyline backed with design paper. Hope you like it.

Have Fun!!

Don't forget to be nice...

Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week we want you to use Stencils.

Katzelkraft is usually my first thought when making cards, no matter what occasion. That was also the case for this card. Although he looks a bit grim, the penguin is quite cute and he was allowed on the card. Lol

I first sponged the background in light blue and then stenciled with large snowflakes in light blue and purple.
The penguin was cut out after coloring and glued on. I applied some glue on the bottom part and sprinkled fine glitter on it. The snowflakes are made with glitter glue.
Finally, I embossed part of the sentiment and stamped the other part directly. I replaced the word awesome with the word cute. The panel is partially backed with light blue cardstock and pasted onto a blank card.

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Welcome...

Hello everyone!
I'm back with my weekly Katzelkraft inspiration!  A very simple card, made with the Buildings and Numbers from the new release.

My time is currently booked by my grandkids, so it had to go quickly! :)

For the background of the card I used 4 of the Number stamps and all the Buildings except the smallest one - it ended up in the circle. I colored with alcohol markers. The sentiment is composed of an embossed part and a die cut part. The panel is backed with black cardstock and glued to a blank card.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)
