Katzelkraft - Just one Smooch

Hi everyone, 

It's Katzelkraft day! - Played with the frogs again...

It's been a while since I made my last Mini-Moo card.... 

These 7x2.8 cm cards are totally cute and addictive. - Sometimes a bit tricky, but really fun to do.

I got the idea for this card when I was digging around and found some fashion stickers from my granddaughter. - As soon as I saw the mouth, I knew what I was going to do with it!

I stamped the frog, colored it with alcohol ink markers and stuck the mouth on. Cut out the frog and glued it to a leftover piece of gel print on which I had previously drawn a water lily pad. 

The bees (Penny Black) are also stamped, colored, cut out and glued on. - I'm kind of crazy, I know... hahaha

I created the sentiment on the computer and printed it out. Cut it into labels, stuck them on and outlined them with a black fineliner.

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club! 

This month we are celebrating 

 National Look Alike Day

Celebrate people who look like you. 

Look Alike Day is a fun holiday invented to celebrate identical twins, clones, 

copycats and anyone else who you look like or who looks like you.

Twins are discovering the world together, hand in hand.

I tore off a strip of patterned paper and pasted it to the bottom edge of the card. I stamped and masked the monkeys. Spritzed the card with Picked Raspberry (Distress Oxide). Stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with single letter stamps.  Done!

I wish you twice as much fun as usual !! ;)

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card.

For today's card I used one of the fun gorillas and combined it with a quote I found on Pinterest.

I stamped the gorilla, colored it with watercolors and then added some darker accents with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out and put it aside. 

I drew the banana skirt to fit the gorilla's waist. Colored the skirt with alcohol markers and cut it out. Stamped a little flower, colored it in and cut it out as well. Glued the skirt and flower to the gorilla.

I then brushed and stenciled part of the card with Mowed Lawn (Distress Oxide) and spritzed on some black ink splatters. Pasted a few scraps of washi tape at the bottom, stamped a plant and then added the monkey.

The quote I stamped with single letters. They aren't all on the same level, but that makes it kind of interesting, right?

Hey, Chick

Hi everyone!

We are entering the second half of our current challenge at the Dream Factory.

 

Our Movie: 

Chicken Run 

Chickens, chicks, ducks, eggs, flowers, colorful or whatever else you can think of, 

__________But no Bunnies !!_________ 

I made the clouds using a homemade stencil and Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide). 

To make the straw, I first sponged the area with Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide) and then used the edges of the ink pad to make strokes in all directions. 

I stamped the chicks and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out and added them to the card. 

Stamped the sentiment and added a strip of washi tape to the bottom.

Added some Wink of Stella to the metallic parts of the scooter.

Who let the Frogs out!

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project.

Used slightly older stamps from Katzelkraft for today's card, because these funny frogs had to get some fresh air!

First I stamped the three frogs. I started with the top frog and masked it. Then I stamped and masked the middle frog and did the same with the last frog. - Kept them masked for the next step.

I used a selfmade stencil to dab on the clouds in the background. Sponged the lower area with blue ink and stuck a few torn strips of washi tape under the frogs. Took off the frogs' masks and colored them in with alcohol ink markers. Stamped the insects and the sentiment.

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project.

Used the funny chimpanzees and a few other recent stamp sets from Katzelkraft for today's card. (see below)

Despite a lot of masking and sponging, it was actually done quite quickly.

After stamping, 

I first colored the chimpanzees with watercolor and then added some darker accents with alcohol ink markers. Masked them and sponged the ground and sky. Stamped the stump, grass, flower, plants and bananas.

Added some liquid pearl dots to the flower. Stamped the sentiment.
