Hooray!

Hello everyone!
....for days I turned the Twofer challenge back and forth and had no idea,
but today.......

....was a good day!

Little Gorjuss picked crisp apples and made an apple pie for you!
....and I had lots of fun coloring it in using felt-tip pens and alcohol markers.

I stamped the tree, the girl, the sentiment and some leaves on the card. - Everything else was fussy-cut after coloring and glued to the card. (....one apple is still hanging on the tree)!
Originally the basket is a cup cake of which I cut the cake to get the basket.
I slightly sponged the background with blue ink.

And now to the apple pie!

The "apple pie" letters are die cut.
Eggs, apples and bowl are stamped, everything else is hand drawn. (I cut the bowl a bit smaller to fit it)
To get the gingham in the background, I traced lines with alcohol markers.
After coloring with alcohol markers, I fussy-cut the pictures, stuck them on the card and wrote the recipe with black fine liner.

ENJOY!

  1. Rosi, you came up with a very clever idea for the Harvest prompt! The apples look great being harvested by your sweet young lady into her cupcake wrapper basket! And using the apples again on your apple pie recipe card made a delight design! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #10! Hugs, Darnell

  2. Diese Idee und Umsetzung muss man erst mal toppen!! Es ist so genial und so toll gemacht. Erst die Äpfel ernten und dann gleich verarbeiten!!!

  3. Not one scene, but two! How clever is this idea?!! Love how Miss Gorjuss has not only picked the apples, she's made an apple pie with them, too. It was wonderfully creative to hand draw so many of the items on your recipe card; I am impressed as I can barely draw stick people, lol!! Two fun cards, Rosi. Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev

Super Idee!
