Hello everyone!
The son of my friend Gundi celebrated his Jugendweihe this weekend. A ceremony in which 14-year-olds are given adult social status (esp. in East Germany)
I made this card for him.
At first I wanted to make a tux card but then I thought it was a bit too strict for that age. - Nowadays you can wear a bit simpler clothes for such festivities!
So I decided for a more casual version and used a patterned paper, which I found very nice and suitable for this card.
I moved the collar a bit to the left to make room for a pocket, where a small banknote replaces the handkerchief. The most difficult thing about this card was the tie (ribbon) - not so easy to make a nice knot!
To keep the card well closed, I attached magnets inside.
Sorry, I forgot to take a photo from the inside. There is the word "congratulations", die cut from the blue side of the paper. Maybe Gundi will send me a photo to add it...
Addition...
Gundi was so kind and sent me a photo from the inside...

SupprimerSeine Originalworte: "Schau mal, eins schickes Jackett und darunter das Hemd. Echt cool gemacht." Aber noch mehr begeisterte das Einstecktuch! ... ;-)
