Home for Christmas

Hello everyone!
The weeks fly by and it's already Saturday! This means there is a new challenge at 52CCT!
We have a color challenge this week and we want to see three different or graded shades of blue on your cards.

Do you still remember your school days and the ink killers or ink eaters - as we called them as children?
Well, I found some ink cartridges and ink killers while cleaning out my drawers and I had an idea......

I pressed the content of one of the cartridges onto a piece of transparent plastic, took a wide brush and spread the ink on a piece of watercolor paper (300g). Then I washed the brush and moved the clean but wet brush from bottom to top to lighten the ink. I pressed the remaining ink droplets onto the dry paper!
That was the first step.

Next I used the stamps that can be seen on the photo. I moistened them with the ink eraser and immediately stamped on the blue inked paper - and lo and behold, it worked! The stars and the moon became immediately visible!
I used only the tip of the ink eraser for the dots.

The path was blue at first - I used the tip of the ink eraser to make the grooves.
Then took up very little ink with a water brush pen and watercolored the snow hills in very pale blue. - Looks a bit like lilac because the paper has a faint yellow tinge!

Finally I drew the fir trees with the blue pen at the opposite end of the ink eraser - added a blue line and the sentiment.

Hope you like it!

Have fun with the challenge!
