Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week you can play with the following colors
Grey - Gold - Black
As I did last week, I tried to add some design paper to my card this week too.
I took a large sheet with gray Christmas designs along the edges, cut it into 6 pieces and used one of them as the background for this card. I die cut a border from gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to the very bottom. - I used a couple of the small die cut squares to suggest "stars". All other images are die cuts.
As you can see, I was pretty lazy and almost only used pre-made die-cuts, but at some point they have to be used too.
I hope you like my card anyway, even though it didn't require a lot of skill!
Have Fun!

RépondreSupprimeroh those sweet gnomes have gotten all dressed up for the holidays, that is fabulous! so pleased you could join our JINGLE BELLES fun once more!
RépondreSupprimerYou had me at GNOMES! And they are cute! These are great colours for Christmas. And that border die, little glitter in the sky too, it’s awesome that you used them instead of scrapping. FYI: using die cuts isn’t lazy, it’s creative and like you said, they need to get used up. Thank you for sharing your wonderful card with us at Krafty Chicks Challenge.

that gnomie scene is super-fun ... so very glad you bundled-up with us at Jingle Belles.
RépondreSupprimerGnome doubt about it: your card is awesome! Festive and fabulous! I love using die-cuts - whether they're ones I've made or those pre-made. They're a great way to ignite my creativity when it's flagging. Not lazy, but inventive...as you've shown here! Thank you for playing along at Just Us Girls!
