I am back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration.
Needed one last new year card and used the pig from "La ferme des animaux".
Next to the chimney sweeps, the toadstool, the four-leaf clover and the horseshoe, as well as ladybugs and frogs,
the pig is the most popular symbol of luck in Germany and Europe.
I sponged some green at the bottom and some blue in the background.
Stamped the pig, the lucky clover and the hearts.
The feet of the pig I have omitted by masking and then redrawn by hand.
Stamped two lucky clover leaves, cut them out and pasted one under the pig and one on his hand.
Colored anything with alcohol markers. Stamped the sentiment, cut it into little labels and pasted them on as well.
The sentiment says: For you! So that you have a lot of pig this year!!!
So, I sent the person a lot of luck!
Hope you like this! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

- A pig had a high value in the Middle Ages. It meant food, offspring and thus prosperity.
It then became a lucky pig and there is a custom of passing around a piglet in a basket on New Year's Day.
- The four-leaf clover is a world symbol and is supposed to connect the four cardinal points with the four elements fire, water, air and earth.
On the other hand, the first leaf stands for fame, the second for wealth, the third for a faithful lover and the fourth for the best health.
