The most wonderful time of the year

New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

The colors of this week are

Blue - White - Silver

This card was originally intended to be one of my Katzelkraft cards, but something bothered me about it and so I put it aside. Again and again I picked it up and each time I put it back in the basket. Today I brought it out again and lo and behold, I had an idea! :))

I cut the card crosswise, replaced the smaller part with the embossed silver part and pasted on three die cut stars - sort of as a transition. 

The sentiment was already part of the original card, so I had to deal with it! I heat embossed it again on black cardstock, cut it diagonally in the appropriate place and then pasted it onto the silver part to match. I think this even makes an additional eye catcher now! :))
