Whatever you are...

Hi everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club! This month we are celebrating

Carve A Pumkin Day

Mr. Bird is still thinking about whether and how to carve his pumpkins. 🎃
Got the new stamps from Katzelkraft a few days ago and am so excited to show you two from the new release.
(Moon and Bird)

I used a gel print as the background and stamped the images on it. Stamped the images again on Bristol paper, colored them and cut them out. For coloring I used watercolors and alcohol markers.
I did not color the moon, but stamped it with different Distress Oxide inks, as I did here. Fossilized Amber as first color, then Chipped Sapphire and then Black Soot. I inked the stamps very lightly each time and smudged them with my fingers right after stamping to get a slightly fuzzy color gradation.
I adhered the images and stamped some ivy branches at the bottom and top.
The embossed sentiment is also from Katzelkraft.

Have Fun!!
