We're heading into the second half of our current Dream Factory challenge, and I wanted to give you a quick reminder on our movie

 

Wish

It's Anything Goes and/or Make a Wish

 Today's card is very simple. 

The background for it was already in my stash. I just added the thinking cat and a piece of patterned paper, on which I stamped a background pattern. I colored the cat first with aqua markers and then with alcohol ink markers - cut it out and glued it on. Finally, I added the labels that make up the sentiment.

Katzelkraft - You talkin' to me?

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :)) - with one more ATC-coin.

 

As I mentioned in my previous post, Katzelkraft is sadly closing its doors.

I stamped the animal, colored it with aqua markers and alcohol ink markers and then cut it out. 

I brushed an AALL&Create mask with Iced Spruce (Distress Oxide), sprayed it with water and printed it on white cardstock. Punched out the small circle, stamped the animal and then glued on the cut-out animal. 

I punched out a larger circle from beige cardstock embossed with a wood pattern, brushed it with Early Espresso (Stampin'Up) and glued the circle with the animal on. Finally, I backed the ATC-coin with black cardstock and added the heat embossed sentiment.

I think I will make another ATC-coin and thus make a set of three with the previous coin.

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

Our movie for this month is:

Wish

A movie full of fantasy and fun characters.... 

We say:

Anything Goes

and/or

Make a Wish

You can of course take inspiration from the movie, the poster and the colors.

I stamped the small designs for the candles on different colored cardboard. Cut them out and then pasted them onto the card. At the bottom of the card I added a doily folded in half and above it a strip of tracing paper with the inscription Make a Wish.

Katzelkraft - Dreamer

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :)) - with an ATC-coin again!

This will be one of my last projects as a member of the Katzelkraft design team. :((

Unfortunately, Katzelkraft is closing its doors at the end of May and the stamps of this amazing brand will no longer be produced. So sad about that... :(( 

I stamped the thinking cat, colored it with aqua markers and alcohol ink markers and then masked it. I stenciled a moon pattern with Seedless Preserves (Distress Oxide) and added a few splatters of green ink. I removed the mask and die cut the image slightly smaller than the purple circle. Glued them together and added the heat embossed sentiment.

Hope you like this little dreamer :))

Katzelkraft - Footprints

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :)) - ATC-coin fever's caught me again!

While Sherlock Holmes is investigating, the prisoner escapes... 

I'm an absolute fan of the Pabos and I think they fit the little story told by this ATC series like a glove!

As with the last ATC coin, 

I didn't want to cut off the protruding parts because I think it gives the coins a unique look.

...I also like it better when they don't look so strictly framed. - We wouldn't be artists if we didn't break the rules from time to time - would we! Ha ha ha

He's a Pabos Aviator, but it looks more like he escaped the Sherlock Holmes set - lol

Sherlock Holmes is investigating! He doesn't know yet if these footprints will lead to a result.

...but

while Sherlock Holmes is investigating the thief, the prisoner makes off!!

As you can see, each of the three coins has the brick wall in common. That was my guide, so to speak.

I stenciled it with Fired Brick (Distress Oxide). The joints, as well as the papos, were colored with alcohol ink markers.

The backgrounds are from the leftover box. I stamped them with branches and leaves, the prisoner's was splattered with white ink.

I brushed the ground with Tranquil Tide (Stampin'Up), stamped on some grass 

and finally added the heat embossed quotes/sentiments.

Floral Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create! 

The theme is Anything Goes w/ optional twist Floral delight.

(create something featuring flowers)

The vase with the flowers 

is a stamp from set #451 (AALL&Create) that I won last year at Allsorts Challenge. - I used it for the first time today!

Quite a big stamp. - It fills an A6 card, but without being obtrusive.

I stamped the image and stenciled around it. Colored it with aqua markers, then added stronger accents with alcohol ink markers. Stamped some numbers and writings on the right edge. (AALL&Create as well) 

Added splatters with black ink. Stamped the sentiment. 

Finally, I cut the card to size and adhered it to a blank card.
