Holy Guacamole...

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our Dream Factory challenge, and I would like to briefly remind you about it.

CODE 3

Use at least 3 colors of your choice!
Black, white, gray, and brown are neutral colors and may be used in addition.

It's my little sister's birthday, so I made her this fun pop-up card.

I punched out different borders in various colors and layered them on top of each other, then stamped the sentiment and attached the little horse to a string so it can swing back and forth.

Now for the inside of the card.
First, I set up the pop-up mechanism—three pieces of cardstock, and it works like a charm!
I then stamped the images, colored them in with alcohol markers, and cut them out with scissors. ...the things we do for our little sis, don't we!

On the right, I stamped nachos, chili peppers, limes, avocados...
For the left, I stamped a strip of patterned paper with nachos and backed it with green cardstock.

I glued some of the images onto a rectangle of orange, green, and white cardstock, stamped the remaining part of the sentiment and glued the die-cut “60” underneath. The last few images and birthday wishes found room on the small flap on the right. Finally, I glued the rectangle I had prepared earlier onto the remaining part of the mechanism.

Now, let's see, how the thing works...

Thanks for stopping by!
