The challenge at "The Little Things"  

is already halfway over—so it’s time for a quick reminder.

The theme is:

Sunflower and/or Squirrels

with the option: 

Anything Goes

Remember: The challenge blog focus on small card formats, 

such as ATCs, tags, Memorydex cards, Mini Moo cards, bookmarks etc.

In my first project, I shared an ATC featuring a sunflower made from scraps—today it's the squirrels' turn.

I stamped the mushroom (AALL&Create), colored it with alcohol markers, and cut it out.

Then I cut out the squirrels and owls. They were actually pre-cut images, but I don’t really like the white borders, so I cut them out again as close to the edge as possible. 

For the owls, I added a little color to the remaining white areas to match the background.

As for the background, I reused a piece from a brochure, onto which I simply stamped a branch.

Finally, I added the sentiment and backed the little fall scene with a stamp-shaped ATC die-cut.

... At this point, I had to cheat a little, because the cutting die was a bit too big ;))

I cut the stamp into four pieces, trimmed a small bit off each piece, and put them back together—if you look closely, you'll see the cut lines.
