We have a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club! This month we are celebrating

National Handwriting Day

Have you ever wondered if you have good handwriting? Have you looked at your friend’s handwriting with envy? With computer keyboards as the new writing method, we often forget the good old pen and paper method. This day encourages you to put pen to paper, and show off your skills!

My card is quite simple. I created the background using a stencil and Wild Honey (Distress Oxide). 

Then I stamped the feather and colored it with colored pencils. Embossed a narrow strip along the right edge and pasted washi tape to the bottom edge. Pasted the panel onto a card base of which I had previously colored the edges with Crumb Cake (SU). 

The Hello and the swirl I wrote with a calligraphy pen. Made splatters with the ink left in the pen. Hope you like it.

Katzelkraft - The tree isn't the only thing...

Hello everyone! 

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation, for which I used the ostrich and its feet again! Yes, I know it's already the.... ?? ....do not remember how many! here, here, here...

Mr. Ostrich wants it a little festive today!

I truly adore the expression of this bird, and once again, I couldn't resist using it.

As usual, I sponged the background with Distress Oxide. 

I stamped the feet, colored them with alcohol markers and cut them out. Wrapped a thin paper cord around them and glued the hand drawn light bulbs to it.

I stamped the ostrich head and colored it - the body is made from a large brown feather. 

Then added the fir tree, and a wing, for which I also used feathers. 

As a little tweak, I added two Christmas balls to the ostrich's neck.

I wrote the saying on small labels, cut it out and glued it on.

Katzelkraft - Smile when it's raining 2

Hello everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new creation made with Katzelkraft stamps! 

Gosh! What fun I had using the ostrich and his feet again! - used them here too

This time I combined it with the beautiful quote stamp Smile When It's Raining and the somewhat older raindrops. 

I stamped the feet and head and colored them. Then I stamped the quote. To get a very dark impression, I had to stamp it several times. I used Stampin'Up's Stamparatus for this, so nothing went wrong! 

Then it was the raindrops' turn. I stamped and colored them. 

To make the card look less flat and empty, I sponged the background with blue and gray Distress Oxide.

For the final touch, I stamped the top of the quote, which was the umbrella, in three different colors and cut them out. Put the three umbrellas on top of each other and, holding them firmly in my hand, I cut them into three pieces with the scissors. Then I glued them back together, mixing the colors. Before sticking the umbrella with adhesive pads, I added three or four feathers at the left.

Hello everyone!
A friend of mine unfortunately lost her father - I made this very sober card to send her hugs and comforting words.

I let black acrylic paint diffuse on wet watercolor paper. After drying, I punched out two feathers and splashed them with white ink. I embossed a strip of tracing paper and stuck it on a white paper panel.  Coloured the edges of the card base in black and glued the panel to it. Tied the feathers together with a piece of twine and glued them to the card. The sentiment is stamped on a narrow white strip and glued as well.

Carnevale di Venezia

Hello everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory!
As you know, the carnival is coming to its climax in the next few days and we thought that the movie

Casanova 

would be a good fit this month! 

On this topic you can show us everything about carnival, Venice, love, vintage etc. 

...and of course a Casanova if you want! ;)

The idea was in my head from the beginning, but I lacked the right image...

Finally I found a mask on Pinterest, which I copied from my mobile phone using parchment paper. First I traced the inner lines of the mask with yellow Pearl Pen and after that was dry, I coloured the mask and cut it out. A few feathers and some white splashes, that's it! 

I added three sequins - the sentiment is from Sampin'Up.

♥ Just married ♥

Hello everyone!

A big party was held last weekend! - My nephew's wedding!

... here is the card I made for the lovers.

First I did a pink watercolor stain on a white cardstock panel. 

Then I added some darker pink splashes. 

After drying I glued the panel on the base card, 

then I added the feather, the twine and the sentiment which says: ... it looks like happiness

I punched the birds and the hearts and stuck them onto the feather, just above the twine.

... Long live the newlyweds!

House of Cards # Feathers and/or colors

Hi everyone!
Where is gone March?? - We already have a new challenge at House of Cards!
This month we're coming with feathers and beautiful colors! (see the image below)

 .... my first thought was Easter!

Firstly, I put color stains and stamped feathers on the left side. 

Then I stamped the word Easter and embossed the white part of the card. 

The letters HAPPY are punched from black foam 

and as a small highlight I added three sequins and the chicken head.

Bonne Année

Hello everyone!
Yes, another card for the New Year! In France it is customary to send the wishes for the New Year instead of Christmas. So in the coming days, you will still see two or three cards of this kind - but promised, after those it's finish!!

In fact, the background of this card was intended for that of yesterday, but I have colored it with ink and it has not really dried well -- the embossing powder hooked on the whole area!  I nevertheless embossed it and put it aside!

Again and again I wondered what I could do with this failed piece of paper and during the day I had an idea! - That's what came out of it!

I added two feathers, a wreath and a few glittering things and the card was ready - nothing is lost and I love it!

Könnt ihr euch noch erinnern?
Vor ein paar Wochen gab's bei mir diese zwei Candys zu gewinnen.
Nun, die Sachen sind bei den jeweiligen Gewinnerinnen angekommen und ich möcht euch heute ganz schnell zeigen, was ich ausser dem was vorgesehen war , noch mit ins Päckchen gelegt habe.

Il y a quelques semaines, vous pouviez gagner ces deux Candys sur mon blog.
Maintenant, que les produits sont arrivés chez les deux heureuses gagnantes, je voudrais vous montrer, ce que j'ai ajouté en plus dans les colis.

Diese Karte war für Vicky im Päckchen. 

Ich habe mich daran orientiert, dass sie Sweet Pea und blau mag und somit ist das hier entstanden!

Cette carte était dans le colis pour Vicky.

J'ai tenu compte du fait, qu'elle aime Sweet Pea et la couleur bleu et voilà le résultat!               

Auf den verschiedenen Bildern könnt ihr gut erkennen, was alles zum Einsatz kam.

Sur les différentes photos, vous pouvez facilement voir, tout ce qui a été utilisé.

Glitter, pièces poinçonnées, plumes,

selbtgedrehte Röschen aus Kreppapier, eine große weiße Blume, ein Metallherz aus "Plastik" lol, eine gestanzte Bordüre 

 petites roses fait main, une grosse fleur blanche, un cœur métallique en "plastique" lol, une bordure festonnée 

und das Sweet Pea Motiv, coloriert mit Filzstiften und mit Glitter *aufpoliert*. Die Deko auf dem Hintergrundpapier von BoBunny ist "made in home", ausser den weißen Pünktchen, die waren schon drauf.

et l'image de Sweet Pea, colorié avec des feutres et *polie* avec des paillettes. La décoration sur le papier de fond de BoBunny est "made in home", à l'exception des points blancs qui étaient déjà existants.

Es gab auch noch.....

Il y avait aussi.....

....dieses kleine Mini Album gemacht aus dem gleichen Papier von BoBunny aber in einem etwas dunkleren Ton!

....ce petit mini album, fait à partir du même papier de BoBunny, mais d'un ton  légèrement plus foncé!

De plus, j'ai ajouté quelques cartes estampillés aux deux gagnantes, ....c'est quelque chose qu'on a toujours besoin.

Natürlich gab es auch für Julie eine Karte und Stempelabdrücke aber leider habe ich in der hektik total vergessen, ein Foto davon zu machen. Vielleicht zeigt sie es demnächst auf ihrem Blog..... 

Bien sûr, il y avait aussi une carte et des estampilles pour Julie, mais malheureusement j'ai oublié dans l'agitation, de faire des photos. Peut-être qu'elle nous les montrera prochainement sur son blog....

...mit dieser kleinen Elfe möchte ich bei der Challenge von Sweet Pea Stampers mitmachen,

hier heißt es diesen Monat : "Anything goes". 

Das Motiv habe ich mir vor ein paar Wochen gegönnt  ...und ja ich geb's zu, auch die Schnörkel und die ovalen Stanzen sind neu *g* 

...ab und zu darf man sich schon ein bisschen verwöhnen ...oder? 

...avec cette petite elfe, je voudrais participer au challenge de Sweet Pea Stampers, 

le thème ce mois-ci est : "Anything goes"

Le motif, je me le suis offert il y à quelques semaines  ...oui je l'avoue, les curlicus et les poinçons ovales sont neufs eux aussi *rire* 

...de temps en temps on peut se gâter un peu ...n'est ce pas?

Von der kleinen Elfe habe ich zwei Fotos mit verschiedenen Lichtverhältnissen gemacht.

Mann erkennt das schimmern auf diesem Foto einigermaßen gut. 

J'ai pris deux photos de la petite elfe avec des conditions de lumière différentes. 

Sur cette photo on remarque assez bien le scintillement.

Hier dagegen sieht man besser das glitzern ihrer zarten Flügelchen....

Dafür habe ich ihre Flügel zuerst mit Glossy gestrichen und dann mit ganz feinem Glitzerpulver bestäubt.

Ici, au contraire on voit mieux l'éclat de ses petites ailes délicates...

Pour ça, j'ai enduit les ailes avec du Glossy puis je les ai saupoudré avec des paillettes ultra-fines. 

So, jetzt kann ich nur hoffen dass sie euch auch ein wenig gefällt...
