The Moose Wonderful Time of the Year

Hello everyone!
I have the honor to be guest designer this month for the  Bastel-Traum Challenge!
The theme for October is: Christmas (see the picture below)

I decided to use a super cute stamp set from My Favorite Things (Merry Christmoose),
that I got from a friend a long time ago.
I slightly sponged the background with Distress Oxide Iced Spruce and a brick wall stencil. Used Crumb Cake from SU for the bottom and Distress Oxide Wild Honey for the corners. Stamped the images, colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut them and glued them on. The fir tree is decorated with liquid pearls.
I ended by adding a small strip of black glitter washi tape at the bottom.

Have Fun with the challenge!!

BOO 👻👻👻

Hello everyone!
Today starts our new challenge at Dream Factory
The movie for this month is:

Gh🚫stbusters

The name alone makes you sit up and take notice...
...because who hasn't seen this funny movie or danced to the song of the same name by Ray Parker Jr.?

I stamped bats on black cardstock and heat embossed them.
For the purple stripe, I used several stamps from the same set and stamped them close together.
The slime and ghost are hand drawn, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.
The branch and words for BOO are stamped and fussy cut as well. Hope you like my little scallywag!

Have lots of fun with the challenge!!

Let's Party...

Hello everyone!
We're celebrating It's My Party Day at the Day of the Month Card Club and I want to remind you of it with a fun moo card.

It's the perfect day to celebrate whatever you want....

The card was made pretty quickly. To create the pasture, I used die cuts. For the clouds in the background I used Distress Oxide ink and a mask made with the same die cut as the white part at the top of the card.  Both cows are stamped, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. The sentiment is partially made with single letter stamps and completed with a smaller sentiment from Stampin'Up.

Hope you like it. I will use this card as a birthday card, because in October I need a lot of them.

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - Good Friends...

Hello everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft inspiration...
...and the whole meerkat herd. - The more the merrier! Right?

These little rascals are so cute, I couldn't help but put them all together!
Today they are very amused, because one of their buddies got tangled in the balloon strings...

I did a little sketch first and then stamped the meerkats on the card. I masked them so I could create the background. The background, balloons (a handmade stencil) and bottom are sponged with Distress Oxide inks. I also stamped some herbs while the animals were still masked.
The meerkat hanging from the balloons was stamped a second time and colored with alcohol markers, as were his buddies. I cut it out, wound the strings around it and pasted it onto the card.

The sentiment is from the new "WHATCHAMACALLIT" set.
I embossed it, cut it into small strips, and then placed it in several spots.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Christmas Greetings

Hello everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we want to see

Red and Brown

It's been ages since I've decorated a card with ribbon....

I stenciled stars and sprinkled some of them with brown glitter.
For the bottom half, I first stamped the sentiment on beige cardstock, then embossed and adhered it to the star panel.
Before pasting the panel onto the blank card, I added the ribbon and bow. That's it!

Party Girl

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at Day of the Month Card Club! This month we are celebrating

It's My Party Day

Who needs a reason to plan a party? It's the perfect day to celebrate whatever you want. Just be sure your party soundtrack includes musician Lesley Gore's hit "It's My Party," a popular pop song that came out in 1963. It's the perfect tune to help set the stage for your celebration.

At DotMCC we keep the party simple, we just ask you to make a card for our challenge! 😉

I saw this card from Corrie Herriman on Pinterest and liked it so much that I stole her idea without further ado! I made the background a little different, but for the colors I kept very close to the original. Unfortunately, I do not have the stamp of the sweet girl "yet", but the image was pretty easy to draw by hand. 😊
This time I used my stencil as a stamp! I applied the colors to the stencil, spritzed it with water and pressed it onto the already sponged card. I bleached a few spots and then stamped the card with different stamps and the same Distress Oxide inks I already used for the background. I ended by adding the washi tape, the girl and the sentiment, and stamped a few more hearts under the washi tape.

This card is for my granddaughter for her birthday, I'm sure she will love it!
I hope you like it too, even though I cheated a lot this time! 😏

Katzelkraft - smile when it's raining

Hello everyone!
Tuesday is my Katzelkraft day. We have rainy weather and so raindrops came to my mind....
Here is my weekly card.

The rain doesn't seem to disturb Napoleon and Froggy! - I gave the elephant a smile to make him look more happy.

I sponged the background, made a few clouds with a mask and then stamped the raindrops, leaving the area for the sentiment blank. I stamped the elephant and frog, colored them both with alcohol markers and fussy cut them.
To make the stone under the frog, I sprayed gray cardboard with water, let it soak, then crumpled the paper and squeezed out the excess water. I slightly unfolded the paper, shaped it and dried it with the heat gun to make it go faster.
It was now time to paste the pieces onto the card. I placed the frog on the stone, bent the elephant's trunk so it could hold the umbrella, and then added the sentiment that was already printed on vellum. I also have this sentiment as a stamp from Katzelkraft, but it was a little too big for this scene.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
As always, we'll start the month with a sketch. (See below)

I just used patterned papers to create this card. After combining the papers, I die cut a circle to put Santa in. Colored him with alcohol markers, and added the embossed sentiment. This was really quick to make.

Have fun with the sketch!
