We're celebrating Polar Bear Day at the Day of the Month Card Club...
Currently I am a bit in gel print fever! LOL
As I did for Saturday's card, I again used a print I made with my recently acquired gel print plate.
Am really amazed by the floppy thing and the fantastic patterns you can make with it!
Before I adhered the stamped and cut out animals, I added a few snowflakes and swirls to the background.
For the "snow" at the bottom, I sprayed watercolor paper with water, scrunched it up, then unfolded it slightly and dried it with the heat gun. I pasted two pieces onto the card, coated them with some glue and sprinkled glitter on top. Unfortunately you can't see it at all in the photo!
After everything was well dry, I cut the panel to size and backed it with beige cardstock. For the sentiment I stamped the word "Hiver" on white paper, cut it out and glued it on. It says:
Winter
under its beautiful
...white coat!
