There's snow one else like you

Hi everyone!

Today I'm playing along with the TAWI July challenge.

The challenge is divided into different categories, so there is something for everyone!  

I have chosen the category Christmas card with the colors Turquoise, Lime and Black. 

For my card, I used a fun snowman and its four-legged friend from AALL&Create. 

I colored them with watercolors. I cut them out - I love fussy cutting, it's so relaxing! and adhered them to a background stamped with snowflakes. 

I backed the panel with Lime Green Design Paper and adhered it to a blank card. Stamped the sentiment.

Katzelkraft - Why fit in...

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card. 

I thought I'd have to do a series of cards with some nice quotes! 

You can see the others here, here and here.

I usually pick the image first and then look for a sentiment to go with it. 

For this series of cards, I did it the other way around.

I splattered black ink on the card. Stamped the image, watercolored it and cut it out. Then stamped the quote.

To get the 3-D effect, I glued on the body of the cow and used foam tape to lift the head. 

Did you notice the eye lashes and earrings ?? :))

Fussy Cutting

I especially enjoyed this week's challenge because I love doing fussy cutting. It's so relaxing!

Look how it turned out!

I watercolored the images and cut them out. Added some Wink of Stella to the snowman...

 I then attached the images as well as the sentiment to the embossed background using foam tape. Hope you like it.

So, now it's your turn to pick up the scissors!

Katzelkraft - Dreamer...

Hi everyone, 

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project. :))

Actually, the animal on the right is a cat too, but I wanted it to be a dog. That's why the bone.

I stamped and masked both cats. Then I created a sort of multi-colored cloudy sky using a homemade stencil and Distress Oxide inks. I colored the animals and the bone with watercolors. I drew a speech bubble around the sentiment and added washi tape to the bottom edge.

For my Forever Friend

Hi everyone!

Was in ATC mood today...

Inspired by the current challenge at ATC Around the World...

...this little thing was created today.

The background is a leftover from my stash, which I splattered with ink to give it it a more interesting look. You can notice a stenciled chevron pattern, which looks better in real life.

I stamped the image on a scrap of white bristol paper and colored it with alcohol ink markers. - The challenge wants it colorful! I fussy cut the goose and adhered it to the ATC. Stamped the sentiment and backed the ATC with black cardstock.

Hi everyone!

Let's go for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

The theme of this week is

Pets

...caught in the act! LOL

Used the big Christmas tree and one of the "Ukrainian cats" from Katzelkraft for this card. The cat has just the right expression for this kind of mischief. The cupcakes and the sentiment I cut out of a design paper pad. To make them look nibbled, I cut off the top of the cupcakes with pinking shears.
